In retailing, consumers are faced with an abundance of products and stores to choose from. Through own label products, supermarkets are attempting to differentiate their brand offering from their competitors. As a unique offering, own label brands are influential in attracting new customers and retaining current customers (Miranda and Joshi, 2003). Own label products have developed from an offering of low quality and low price products and are now a means of achieving store loyalty through a differentiated offering of high quality own label products (Corstjens, J. and Corstjens, M., 1999). SARS (engl. Severe Acute Respirator/ Syndrome) akutna je virusna respiratorna bolest. Smrtnost, za koju se u početku pojave bolesti mislilo da je oko 3%, doseže čak i do 15%. Prvi slučajevi pojave SARS-a u hotelima i stambenim zgradama u Hong Kongu pokazali su sposobnost virusa da se vrlo brzo prenosi. Bolest obično pogađa medicinsko osoblje, liječnike, medicinske sestre i bolničke djelatnike. The goal of this paper is to introduce CROATPAS, the Croatian sister project of the Italian Typed-Predicate Argument Structure resource (TPAS, Ježek et al. 2014). CROATPAS is a corpus-based digital collection of verb valency structures with the addition of semantic type specifications (SemTypes) to each argument slot, which is currently being developed at the University of Pavia. Salient verbal patterns are discovered following a lexicographical methodology called Corpus Pattern Analysis (CPA, Hanks 2004 & 2012; Hanks & Pustejovsky 2005; Hanks et al. 2015), whereas SemTypes – such as [HUMAN], [ENTITY] or [ANIMAL] – are taken from a shallow ontology shared by both TPAS and the Pattern Dictionary of English Verbs (PDEV, Hanks & Pustejovsky 2005; El Maarouf et al. 2014). (= Slavonic names for mosque with special regard to Polish, Silesian, Czech and Slovak data). -- Abstract: Even though mosques are a typical element of the Islamic culture the channels through which their designations came into Slavonic (as well as some other European languages) are not really well known. This author divides Slavonic reflexes of the Arabo-Turkic word into eight groups and discusses the reasons for their various shapes. The essay is composed of three parts: (1) Background and Western European data; (2) Slavonic and German; (3) Results and questions. The most interesting aspect is that of a semantic difference between two types of words (meczet ~ mešita ~ mošeja and džamija) and its importance for the etymology, as well as some comments on the source of the Czech and Slovak word on the one hand and the Russian term on the other. In the end of part (2) particular attention is paid to the question whether the Silesian name was borrowed from Polish or from Czech.
