Etihad Rail is a multi-billion dollar rail network development project set across the United Arab Emirates. The planning, decision making, monitoring and controlling of such a massive infrastructure project requires the use of established, effective and efficient project management systems to assure and accomplish successful outcomes.
The pragmatic research objective of this paper is to assess and analyse the tools, techniques and strategies used for the project management of the Etihad Rail. This research paper explores the systems, methodologies, theories and practices of project management needed to successfully produce business results for the Etihad Rail project.
At first, the paper discusses the business case of Etihad Rail with the help of the logical framework approach. Then we see some strategies for the risk management process.
Second, the paper then suggests some tools and techniques such as work breakdown structure, Gantt chart and critical path method which are required for the planning, scheduling and management of a project. The inputs of the above mentioned tools and techniques are then incorporated in the analysis of the Etihad Rail project.
Next, the paper looks into the monitoring and control process procedures for a smooth running of a project. Here it discusses the importance of meetings and reports which help to define a project, providing a better understanding of the project situation/status and in implementing effective decision making. It includes the earned value analysis method which suggests being the ideal method for monitoring and measuring work performance.
Last, the paper includes some models for change management processes such as McKinsey’s 7-S model, Prosci change management process and Kotter’s 8 step change model. A method is selected from the above mentioned models which can be suitably used for the Etihad Rail project.

This paper presents a summary of the level of adoption of different project management tools and approaches in Polish Nonprofit Organisations. It is based on the responses from 133 polish NGOs in march 2018. The results are compared with similar work on International Development projects to define if the level of adoption of PM practices is different in polish nonprofit sector and if there is a difference in the dependence of project management maturity on the internal project success. Various aspects of project management throughout entire project cycle were evaluated: project initiation, project definition, project implementation and project evaluation. The research concludes with several outcomes. Polish NGOs adapted project management practices to the lower extent than International Development projects. Yet, different tools influence the project success comparably. There is a lack of knowledge about project management among polish NGOs, which might be an important reason behind their low performance on international arena. Paper brings also a broad perspective on the level of adoption of different project management tools and practices that was not evaluated before.

Winning a Horizon 2020 grant is no easy task. Such a feat constitutes an impeccable project proposal which presents the project in the best possible way to its reviewers. As an applicant, having a deep understanding of the Horizon 2020 proposal template and structure will undoubtedly help to write such an outstanding proposal. Therefore, a logical first step to developing the Horizon 2020 project proposal is to first and foremost review and understand the template’s requirements. Attempting to do so often results with one main issue. Time and again, we bore witness to the tremendous “logic gap” which exists between what researchers assume the proposal template requires of them and what we know reviewers are most definitely looking for. Therefore, our team has put together years of shared experience into one complete guide to. This will help you navigate the proposal template space using our offered inner logic.

Success of most organizations depends upon clear examination of the project or activities for the achievement of an objective within stipulated time and cost. Management is then required to determine detailed activities and their relationships, to estimate resources required and time needed to complete these activities as per schedule, and to monitor and control the time and cost of the project. Therefore, I am using such type of approaches and methods those are very successful to reduce the present and future cost and time; such as PERT (Program or Project Evaluation and Review Technique), Gantt chart (that illustrates a project schedule) which clearly define the overall task view in the form of week/month. This work is helpful to reduce all over efforts by applying waterfall model paradigm and above methodology. System Requirement Analysis (SRA) is also very helpful for collecting overall information related to requirements. In this project module-oriented approach (MOA) and module-driven approach (MDA) has been used to ensure the quality with minimal set of deliverables. Here I am discussing that, what is the problem with existing system. There are three level of security which provides no internal access privileges (APs) to other except the system admin. He has the authority to provide APs and also block the user. This system is to develop an automated information system (AIS) for the processing of any grain mill products sector.

The aim of this article is to contribute to the understanding of media-based managerial decision making in organizations. First, it analyzes graphical methods and visualization devices that were systematically adopted by business management between 1880 – 1930. These visu-alization devices were used to create managerial decision systems that heavily relied on charts and other graphical methods. Together they form a new visual culture of managerial decision-making where aspects of temporality become crucial and decisions are made »at a glance«. Second, drawing on the case of the managerial decision system »decision-making at a glance« it develops a theory framework that combines media theory, infrastructural studies and system theory to theorize cycles of sociomaterial decision practices in organizations.
