I am presenting the project Art & Science
Meeting, carried out by the Laznia Centre for Contemporary
Art in Gdansk since the beginning of 2011
(I developed the concept in autumn 2010 and run until now), by first discussing
its framework and the context which shaped
it, then describing its essential characteristics and,
finally, up-to-date history and completed projects.

This chapter is an attempt to introduce NanoArt. It goes back in time to the first uses of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies to create art and continues with the beginnings of NanoArt. Then, it follows a status on this new artistic-scientific discipline and the movement that evolved from recent technological developments in the multidisciplinary area known as nanotechnology. The chapter informs about the international juried NanoArt competitions, displays select artworks collected in the NanoArt21 gallery, and finally presents thoughts of select nanoartists and art people.
In my text to the first catalogue of Galeria NT I amtrying to face the reflection on the idea of NEW MEDIA GALLERY. Questions about relation of geographic space of gallery as space for digital art (remotely exsting).

The administration of highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) to HIV/AIDS patients has greatly reduced their morbidity and mortality. However, HAART regimens have myriad of limitations, which make it difficult to completely eradicate HIV/AIDS from the body. Cells harboring latent HIV reside in restricted areas in the body: cellular and anatomical reservoirs. The residing of HIV in these restricted sanctuaries makes HAART regimens incapable of completely eliminating HIV from the body. In addition, HAART regimens have to be taken for a lifetime making AIDS patients develop resistance to the drugs. When HIV/AIDS patients take HAART regimens overtime, the drugs result in side effects, such as drug toxicities and treatment fatigue. The development of nanotechnology has revolutionized medicine today. Nanotechnology have the potential to mitigate the challenges that doctors and scientists are facing with the current treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS. In this review, I discuss the challenges of HAART regimens and how the novel nanoparticle-based delivery platforms can be advanced for HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention.
