Deux dépôts de haches à talon de la fin du Bronze moyen ont été découverts entre 2005 et 2006 dans la forêt de Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines). Très probablement incomplet, le premier dépôt est représenté par quatre outils alors que le second, considéré comme complet, en comporte 17. Distants de 5 km d'est en ouest, ils étaient positionnés dans la boucle de la Seine et sous le couvert forestier actuel. Parmi les 21 haches, 12 sont fonctionnelles et semblent avoir effectivement servi. Une hache dans chaque dépôt est issue d'un même moule, cinq haches du deuxième dépôt ont été coulées à partir d'un autre même moule et montrent des similitudes dans le type de martelage. Un autre dépôt provenant du Val-d'Oise sera décrit succinctement. Cette présente étude propose une analyse descriptive à partir d'observations macroscopiques détaillées, et présente des remarques d'ordre typologique et technique sur l'étape de préparation. Abstract Two deposits of palstaves dating to the end of the Middle Bronze age were discovered in 2005-2006 in the forest of Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines). The first deposit, which is probably not complete, contains four objects and the second, considered as being complete, contains 17 objects. They were both found about 5 km apart in a meander of the Seine in woodland. Of the 21 palstaves, 12 are considered as having been used. One palstave from each deposit has been cast from the same mould and 5 palstaves from the second deposit also derive from a same casting and have been identically hammered. A third deposit from Val d'Oise will also be touched upon. Our study proposes a descriptive analysis using macroscopic observations and typological and technological remarks relating to each production stage.

ENG: The discovery of two metal moulds for casting palstaves with two loops from Linares de Riofrio (Salamanca) is one of the most interesting evidence known for the study of the Late Bronze Age metallurgy in the Northern Spanish Plateau. However, the early dispersion of the moulds and the documentary problems surrounding the finding had so far hindered their proper study. This paper presents the results of a new formal, archaeometric and documentary review of the materials that are now contextualized within the framework of the Late Bronze Age metallurgical evidence in this region, particularly in the small group of metal moulds documented in the Peninsula Iberian for this period.
ES: El hallazgo de dos moldes metálicos para la fundición de hachas de talón con dos anillas en Linares de Riofrío (Salamanca) constituye uno de los más interesantes testimonios conocidos para el estudio de la metalurgia del Bronce Final en la submeseta Norte. Sin embargo, la dispersión de las piezas y los problemas documentales que rodean al conjunto habían dificultado hasta la fecha su adecuado estudio. Este trabajo expone los resultados de una nueva revisión formal, arqueométrica y documental de los materiales, que se contextualizan en el marco de las evidencias metalúrgicas del Bronce Final en esta región y, concretamente, en el reducido grupo de moldes metálicos de este período documentados en la Península Ibérica.

[SP] Aunque el estudio de la metalurgia del Bronce Final atlántico y su caracterización arqueométrica tienen una larga trayectoria, queda todavía mucho trabajo por hacer para alcanzar conclusiones fiables. Este artículo presenta los resultados del estudio arqueométrico de cinco hachas de talón con dos anillas pertenecientes al depósito de Distriz (Monforte de Lemos, Lugo). La caracterización elemental mediante FRX y los análisis de isótopos de plomo aportan nuevos datos para la valoración e interpretación del conjunto, así como sobre la posible procedencia del metal. Los resultados obtenidos apuntan a que el plomo utilizado en la fundición de las hachas podría proceder de las mineralizaciones de la Sierra de Gádor (Almería), situadas a más de 700 km en línea recta de Distriz.
[ENG] Although the study of the Atlantic Late Bronze Age metalwork and its archaeometric characterization has a long history, there is much work to be done to be certain of our conclusions. The article presents the results of the archaeometric study of five twin-looped bronze palstaves which belong to the Distriz hoard (Monforte de Lemos, Lugo, Spain). The elemental characterization, using xrf, and lead isotopes analyses provide new data for the assessment and interpretation of the hoard, as well as for the metal provenance. The results obtained suggest that the lead used to cast the palstaves comes from the Gádor mountain range ores (Almería, Spain), located more than 700 km far from Distriz.

"[ES] Se exponen los resultados del estudio preliminar de un nuevo conjunto de materiales metálicos del Bronce Final recuperado a finales de 2008 en las excavaciones arqueológicas del yacimiento de Las Lunas (Yuncler, Toledo, España). La localización geográfica del hallazgo, lejos de las principales zonas de dispersión conocidas para este tipo de conjuntos, la singularidad de los objetos que integra, y las relaciones atlánticas y mediterráneas que evidencian sus materiales, lo convierten en un ejemplo destacado para el estudio de este período en el centro de la Peninsula Iberica.
[EN] Here we present the results of the preliminary study carried out on a new find of metallic materials of Final Bronze Age, recovered at the end of 2008 in the archaeological excavations at the settlement of Las Lunas (Yuncler, Toledo, Spain). Its geographical situation far away from the main zones of distribution of this type of finds, the singularity of the materials, and the evidence of Atlantic and Mediterranean relations make these materials a remarkable sample for the study of the Final Bronze Age in the centre of the Iberian Peninsula"
