Esta comunicação busca examinar a concepção do controle de vocabulário e a utilização do vocabulário controlado como dispositivos metodológicos aplicados ao contexto dos arquivos de arquitetura, a partir de um diálogo com a Ciência da Informação. Como se sabe, o termo thesaurus etimologicamente vem do grego e do latim, significando tesouro, tendo sido usado durante muitos séculos para designar léxico, ou tesouro de palavras. Esta palavra popularizou-se a partir da publicação do Thesaurus of English Words and Phrases, de Peter Mark Roget, em Londres, 1852, cujo subtítulo expressa bem o objetivo: classsified and arranged so as to facilitate the expression of ideas and to assist in literary composition (ROGET, 1925)
O processo de indexação documental reveste-se de um profundo e cuidadoso trabalho de análise dos textos e a representação dos temas tratados por uma expressão, que pode ser alfabética ou numérica. A complexidade do processo de indexação se amplia cada vez mais, uma vez que os sistemas de recuperação da informação estão conectados em rede, não mais atendendo apenas a um público específico. Por outro lado, percebe-se que o vocabulário utilizado pelo especialista já não pertence exclusivamente a um grupo seleto de pesquisadores, na medida em que os meios de comunicação e difusão socializam esta terminologia, muitas vezes mais confundindo o leigo do que o auxiliando a compreender os fatos divulgados. Com isso, podem se perceber vários problemas de recuperação das informações devido ao uso de vocabulários livres ou motivados pela imprecisão de definição dos termos para os vocabulários controlados. A falta de padronização gera a perda de informações, pois no momento da busca somente serão recuperados os documentos que coincidentemente foram indexados pelo termo usado na busca.
Esta comunicação irá examinar, portanto, o uso de uma linguagem controlada na descrição dos acervos de arquitetura e os pressupostos teóricos e metodológicos para a concomitante criação de um Thesaurus para a área, em andamento através de financiamento do CNPq.

In the following discourse analysis, I crisscross the realms of text and talk to follow the microformation of legal discourse. How, I ask, does a barrister put together the case for a Crown Court hearing? This representational project, I argue, involves assorted artefacts (marks, modules, maps, or lists) that are consulted as resources on succeeding stages. The various sites of the microformation are the brief, the barrister's note book, and some confidential and staged speech events. The offered trans-sequential analysis of legal discourse puts into perspective preparation and performance, file work and speech production, procedural history, and the field of presence. I explore, above all, the unknown region in between judicial talk and textuality. In this way, in the article, I account for the complexity, contingency, and craft of criminal defense

The new digital technologies offer new possibilities of interconnection and re-connection that are reconfiguring the diverse areas of knowledge and the diverse fields of human action. In this direction, this work reflects on the proposal of the creation of the Latin American Network or Architectural Archives (RELARQ), pioneering initiative in our continent that aims to create a basis of cooperation between the diverse Brazilian and Latin-American institutions, with the objective to congregate, in an online catalogue, accessible to all, the information contained in hundreds of institutions distributed all over the continent, that will count with a common methodological basis for digital treatment and access to the images. With the RELARQ, the field of the History of Architecture will have a new powerful tool in as far as the researchers will be able to access archives in the most distant places of our continent.

O objetivo deste texto é analisar as identidades políticas dos piratas. A partir da história do movimento dos Partidos Piratas, o artigo investiga como novos ativismos partidários têm vindo a instituir‑se ao redor do mundo através de uma reflexividade fundamentada em valores éticos e morais procedentes de utopias tecnológicas antecessoras à sua existência. Ainda no âmbito analítico, discute‑se como o imaginário reticular auxiliou a redefinir as regras da economia mundial e as formas de consumo, bem como serviu de suporte mobilizador de novas subjetividades empenhadas na reorganização da geopolítica da rede.

The purpose of this paper is to analyse the political identities of the pirates. From the history of the Pirate Parties Movement, the article investigates how new political activism has been instituted through a reflexivity sustained by ethical and moral values derived by technological utopias that precede their existence. In the analytical frame, it argues that the reticular imaginary helped to redefine the rules of worldwide economy and the forms of consumption, as well as served as a support to mobilize new subjectivities committed to reorganize the geopolitics of network.
