Adını müzik tarihine yazdırmış büyük klasik batı müziği eserleri çabuk anlaşılıp, seslendirilebilecek kolaylıkta değillerdir. Buna ek olarak, klasik batı müziği bestecilerinin, eserlerini bestelerken nelerden etkilendiklerini de bilmek gerekmektedir. Besteci ile dinleyici arasında bir köprü görevi üstlenmiş icracının seslendireceği eseri yalnızca notalara bakarak algılayabilmesi pek mümkün olamamaktadır. Besteci eğer orkestra için bir eser yazdıysa, bu eseri dinleyiciye aktaracak köprü; bir orkestra ve onu yönetecek olan orkestra şefidir. Seslendirilecek eserlerin orkestra şefleri tarafından iyi kavranabilmesi için müzikal açıdan analizinin yapılması ve bestecilerinin etkilendiği unsurların öğrenilmesi önerilmektedir. Bu yöntemle daha anlaşılır hale gelen müzik yapıtları dinleyiciye daha sağlıklı ulaşacaktır. "N.R.Korsakov 'Şehrazad' Senfonik Süiti Op. 35: Orkestra Şefliği Açısından Teknik ve Müzikal Değerlendirme" isimli çalışmanın Birinci Bölümünde Korsakov'un "Şehrazad" eseri ile M.A.Balakirev'in "Tamara" adlı eseri arasındaki benzerlikleri anlatılmıştır. Korsakov'un Balakirev'den etkilenmiş olduğu motifler ve pasajlar örneklerle ifade edilmiştir. Bu bulgular sonucunda, Korsakov'un Şehrazad için çizdiği profilin Gürcistan tarihinin en başarılı ve güçlü kraliçesi Tamara gibi güçlü bir kadın profili olduğu yargısı çıkarılmıştır. Balakirev "Tamara" adlı eseri bestelerken M.Y.Lermantov'un 1841 yılında yazmış olduğu "Tamara" şiirinden esinlenmiştir. Lermantov, şiirinde kraliçe Tamara'yı hem melek hem de şeytan karakterli, herkesi bir şekilde etkisi altına almayı başaran ve entrikacı biri olarak anlatır. İkinci Bölümde, eserin daha anlaşılır hale gelebilmesi için müzikal analize yer verilmiştir. Eserin ilk bölümü olan Deniz ve Sinbad'ın Gemisi; gelişmesi bulunmayan Sonat formunda, Prens Kalender bölümü; içinde iki Ara Müzik barındıran Çift Scherzo formunda, Genç Prens ve Prenses bölümü; İki Bölmeli Şarkı formunda; Bağdat'ta Şenlik bölümünün ise Rondo formunda yazıldığı saptanmıştır. Üçüncü Bölüm, orkestra şefliği açısından eserin yönetimine ilişkin jest önerileri ile ilgilidir. Up Vuruşu ve Down Vuruşu olarak ikiye ayrılmış jestlerin nasıl ve nerede kullanılacağı anlatılmış, ölçülerin vuruş şekilleri çizilmiş, yavaşlamaların, durakların (puandorg) nasıl uygulanacağı üzerinde durularak bir takım çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur. Genç orkestra şeflerinin de herhangi bir klasik müzik eserini seslendirmeden önce bu tezde yer alan aşamalardan geçirerek eseri çalışmaya hazırlamaları önerilmektedir. Sonuç olarak bu çalışmayla N.R.Korsakov'a ait Şehrazad Senfonik Süitin orkestra şefleri tarafından hazırlanılmasına ve yorumlanmasına katkıda bulunulması amaçlanmıştır.

Great classical works of the Western music which have taken their places in history of music are not easy to understand and to perform. Furthermore, it is essential to know the factors that influence the composers in course of their composing process. It s not quite possible for the performer who acts as a bridge between the composer and the audience to perceive the work just by reading the score. If the composer has composed his work for orchestra the wehicle to carry it to the audience is an orchestra and a conductor to conduct the orchestra. Its advisable for the conductors, in order to better comprehend the work, to make musical analysis of it and find out the factors that affected the composer. In this way the musical works will be thoroughly understood and transferred. In the First Part of the study named "N.R.Korsakov's 'Scheherazade' Symphonic Suite Op. 35: A Technical and Musical Analysis in View of Conducting" The similarities between Korsakov's "Sheherazade" and M.A. Balakirev's "Tamara" are examined. The motives and passages in wich Balakirev influenced Korsakov are pointed out by examples. As a result, we have reached to the conclusion that the profile drawn for Sheherazed by Korsakov owes much to the successfull and mighty Queen of Georgia -Tamara. Balakirev has been influenced by M.Y.Lermantov's poem named "Tamara" (1841) in composing his work. Lermantov, in his poem, depicts Tamara as diabolic and angelic, a cunning person who dominated everyone around her. In the Second Part of the study a musical analysis is given in order to explain the work better. The first movement of the suite; The Sea and Sinbad's Ship, is in Sonata form without a development. Kalendar Prince part has Two Interludes and is in Double Scherzo form. The Young Prince and The Young Princes part is a lied in Binary form. Festival at Bagdat is in Rondo form. The Third Part of the study is about suggestions for gestures in conducting. How and where to use the gestures which are divited in to two as Upbeats and Downbeats, are explained, examining how to apply the ritardandos and point d'orgues, the diagram of the beats in the bars are drawn and some ideas about solutions are suggested. It is advisible for young conductors who are going to perform a classical piece of music to begin working step by step using a similar method. As a result this study aims to help conductors in analysing and interpreting the Symphonic Suit Sheherazade.

The translations of the "Arabian Nights" have been subjected to longstanding critics by scholarship as angled and tendentious translations reflecting the etiquette of their time.
On the one hand the paper confirms these allegations while on the other it compares the Europan translations to the historical evolution process of the "Nights".
From this perpsective those onvidous translations turn out to be totally harmonic with the variant tradition of the historical grown collection of the "Arabian Nights". Like being part of the everlasting narrative heritage of Sheherazade

Cet article tend à examiner les stratégies adoptées par l'écrivaine algérienne d'expression française Assia Djebar afin d'inscrire l'orature féminine algérienne dans ses oeuvres, notamment dans Femmes d'Alger dans leur Appartement, L'Amour la Fantasia, Ombre Sultane, et Vaste est la prison. L'article soutient qu'à travers cette écriture, Djebar vise à revaloriser un riche legs ancestral qui a longtemps été dévalorisé et marginalisé par un discours aussi bien colonial-occidental que patriarcal. Djebar emploie en effet différentes formes d'orature en lien avec des expériences tant individuelles que collectives. Elle donne ainsi voix à des expériences longtemps gardées à l'ombre, et crée des passerelles entre différents univers d'hier et d'aujourd'hui.

Abstract: The article aims at examining the strategies adopted by Algerian francophone writer Assia Djebar to inscribe Algerian female orature in her works, mainly Femmes d'Alger dans leur Appartement, L'Amour la Fantasia, Ombre Sultane, et Vaste est la prison. The paper contends that through her writing, Djebar attempts to revalue a rich and ancestral heritage long marginalized and devalued by colonial-western and/or patriarchal discourses. Indeed, Djebar employs different forms of orature in relation to both individual and collective experiences. She then gives voice to long silenced experiences, and creates passages between different worlds, from past and present.

The genre of the magic tales is one of the oldest manifestations of
human needs of narrative. In the variety of fabulous fairy specimens,
the authors of this analysis chose The Tales of Scheherazade. For us,
the intriguing elements were both their high popularity (as a favourite
reading of many generations all over the world) and their close affiliation with the Orient.
The book (as a product) follows functional demands, respectfully in
textual (scribal) and in aesthetic and artistic areas. Therefore, book
issuing is a subject of research in the field of art, in particular – in
graphic design studies. Our article explores illustrations of the 19th
and 20th century editions of The Tales of the Thousand and One Night
in Europe.
The study is focused on the depiction of architectural motifs and structures as presentations of “magic”. Supernatural elements had been inevitably expected in any human space (urban environment, dwelling,
interior, etc.) from ancient times. The aim of the article is to reveal the
phases of the evolution of illustration art towards the architectural images – as part of their general composition and depending on the time, place, cultural context and personality of their authors.

El objetivo del presente artículo es poner el foco de atención en uno de los personajes marroquíes femeninos más habituales en la narrativa española del siglo XX, aquel influenciado por la mítica Sherezade. Para ello, se han analizado un total de sesenta y dos fuentes literarias —novelas y relatos— escritas únicamente por mujeres. La metodología utilizada, atravesada por la necesaria perspectiva de género, estará sustentada en las bases teóricas de las críticas postcoloniales y los estudios culturales.
