The preparation of DPR is totally different for hilly terrain project than the plain terrain project. Plain terrain project needs land for the road features like carriage way, junctions, service road, toll plaza, rest area, bus stops, drains etc. Whereas in hilly terrain project needs extra land in addition to the above for slope protection works & approach roads and in view of safety the acquisition of abutting properties like houses besides RoW etc. Further, the engineering needs are also different from plain terrain projects.
