In the vision of increasing global pressure to minimize environmental pollution and promote a green nation, green cane harvesting will probably soon become the norm worldwide. The effects of harvesting, delivering, and crushing green cane, which contains all of the associated extraneous matter at kinyara, on the cost of production and the quality of sugar are well known. Confirm by the company not being ISO certified, this case study analyses the threatening problems above and provide a combination of additional machinery that the factory can install in place to save it from the dangerous properties of its only raw material. With the objectives of the cleaning solution and utilization as to separate plant (trash) and mineral (soil) impurities from the manually-harvested sugar cane at the mill. A series of manufacturing companies worldwide provide for the purchase, the cleaning machines that can be used. For this case study, the machine will have the requirements and specifications analyzed here. The core interest is to achieve a clean cane stalk that escalates sugar production efficiency and its related products and by-products

State enterprises emerged rapidly in the early Republican period of Turkey. Based on the wartorn situation of the country, the economic and social practices had to be renewed within the purpose of a “modern and national country”. Therefore, a factory settlement as a modern spatial institution houses the production, residential and social facilities under the hegemony of etatist politics held in between rural and urban fields. Instrumentalization of these settlements by the state as a modernization agent indicates a semi-isolated way of cohabitation. As a model of company town or a micro scale city, state-owned Sugar Factory Settlements are unique examples for the establishments of tabula rasa approach in Turkey. On one hand, the etatist atmosphere organizes collectivity through socio-spatial characteristics of the settlement; on the other hand, this notion penetrates all into the daily lives of inhabitants. From the beginning of this era of construction, these isolated settlements are privileged wherever they were established and they are diversified from the rest of the city. This study investigates the socio-spatial aspects of the Sugar Factory Settlements in the context of their segregated notions.

According to the relevance towards the state priorities the economy of Maharashtra state is dominated by agricultural as well as industrial sector. Sugar factories play an important role in economy of Maharashtra state. About 60 percent processes in these factories are based on roller chain conveyors. Apart from that, other industries also use these chains frequently for process atomization. However, failure of these chains is perennial problem in these industries which causes huge losses to these industries along with its dependents and in turn economic growth of the state. Material uncertainty plays an important role on formation of elastic and plastic stresses. Breakage of chain is also affected due to faulty manufacturing such as wall thickness of link, breaking area of links, bending movement of pin, inner width of chain and shape of the link and uncertainty in heat treatment. Roller conveyor chains are the critical component in sugar mills, paper mill, food processing, fertilizer industry, pharmaceutical industry, cement industry, foundry industry, heat treatment units, coal mines etc. From the previous studies, it can be noted that, even though several patents are filed on roller chains and conveyors, most of the patents are based on metallurgical investigation, improvement of efficiency and performance of chain. Hardly few patents are there on improving life of the chain and minimization of its failure. From the chain failure case studies it can be noted that the root cause of failure was faulty material processing, heat treatment and improper material selection.
