Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil lulusan perguruan tinggi yang saat ini dibutuhkan oleh pasar kerja. Profil lulusan yang akan dianalisis adalah profil lulusan bidang informatika berdasarkan kebutuhan pasar kerja. Selain memperoleh gambaran mengenai profil lulusan, penelitian ini juga ingin menganalisis kemampuan-kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh lulusan Informatika berkaitan dengan profil lulusan yang teridentifikasi. Untuk melakukan identifikasi profil lulusan dan kemampuan-kemampuan yang harus dimiliki, pada penelitian ini menggunakan iklan lowongan pekerjaan yang sifatnya online. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan programmer merupakan posisi pekerjaan yang paling banyak dibutuhkan pasar kerja.Selain itu,teamwork dan communication adalah soft skill yang paling banyak dibutuhkan, dan kemampuan pengauasaan bahasa pemrograman, terutama pemrograman web merupakan hard skills yang paling banyak dibutuhkan

To detect the quality of the graduates produced is not enough just to see its output, which is only seen from the ability of mastery of knowledge, skills and formal attitudes embodied in the Achievement Index achieved. It should also be detected from its outcome that is how many college graduates absorbed in the job market. Level absorbed graduates in the job market, and entrepreneurship is an indicator of the success of universities in graduated students (output). The subjects of this research are alumni of Bakrie University, graduated in 2015. In response to the CHED's Higher Education Development Project and the need to track the status of Sorsogon State College (SSC) teacher education graduates, this research was conceptualized. The study aims to gauge the teacher education program's thrust of providing a quality and relevant education that could ensure worthwhile and appropriate employment opportunity to its graduates. The main concern of this study is to examine the employment status of the Bachelor of Science in
Computer Science Graduates of Negros Oriental State University-Guihulngan City Campus,
Philippines from 2014 to 2018. It also sought to determine the respondents’ sex, employment sector
currently connected, and type of employment in relation to their academic preparation. The descriptive
method was used in this study. It includes the entire population of graduates from 2014 to 2018.
Findings reveal that most of the respondents are male, majority (54.30 %)  are not employed while almost one half (45.70%) are employed. The results further show that most of the employed respondents are working in private agencies. There is a relatedness of respondents’ academic
preparation and work. Hence, the findings suggest that the employability of the graduates needs more improvement by evaluating the current curriculum of the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science geared to cater the current and future needs of societies undergoing social and economic change.Furthermore, the result also implies the need to assess the current on the job training programs and choose partner industries which can further provide competent and competitive on the job training skills to the students.

Mit der Expansion der Hochschulbildung sollte diese als alleiniges Merkmal an Bedeutung für Arbeitsmarkterträge einbüßen, während Differenzierungen innerhalb der Hochschulbildung, zum Beispiel Studienleistungen und Abschlussniveaus, wichtiger werden sollten. Die vorliegende Studie beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, wodurch der Studienerfolg sowie der berufliche und akademische Verbleib von Hochschulabsolventen beeinflusst werden. Datenbasis ist eine Vollerhebung des Abschlussjahrgangs 2014 der Fachhochschulen und Universitäten in Nordrhein-Westfalen, die im Rahmen des Kooperationsprojekts Absolventenstudien (KOAB) 1,5 Jahre nach Abschluss als Onlinebefragung durchgeführt wurde. Als zentrale Erfolgsmerkmale werden das Einhalten der Regelstudienzeit, die Examensnote, die Studienzufriedenheit, der Übergang vom Bachelor- ins Masterstudium und der Stundenlohn untersucht. Die Anlage der Untersuchung ermöglicht es, Veränderungen seit 2011 sowie regionale Unterschiede zu betrachten. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt wird auf Unterschiede zwischen Fachhochschulen und Universitäten sowie die Analyse sozialer Ungleichheiten gelegt: Absolventen aus akademischem Elternhaus sind mit dem Studium zufriedener und nehmen häufiger ein Masterstudium auf. Der Studienerfolg korreliert nur an Universitäten positiv mit der Bildungsherkunft. Absolventen mit Migrationshintergrund erzielen an beiden Hochschularten geringere Studienleistungen und sind nach dem Studium häufiger arbeitssuchend als Absolventen ohne Migrationshintergrund. Frauen schließen ihr Studium zwar erfolgreicher ab als Männer, sind damit aber weniger zufrieden, wechseln seltener in ein Masterstudium und erzielen geringere Stundenlöhne. Mithilfe von Regressionsanalysen wird versucht, Einflussfaktoren des Studien- und Berufserfolgs zu identifizieren und die beschriebenen sozialen Ungleichheiten zu erklären.

The study also aimed to assess the graduates' perceptions of the University's contribution to the graduates' skills development. The Graduate Tracer Study was the primary source of this study. This study used frequency, percentage, and ranking to describe the data gathered from the alumni. The majority of traced alumni were: 20 to 25 years of age, primarily male, single, and are employed. In securing job in the highly competitive global marketplace, a master's degree sets apart from other job candidates. With a master's degree, one will be eligible for more jobs especially for managerial position. This study aimed to trace the graduates of MIHM, determine the skills gained from MIHM program; identify the impact of taking MIHM program in terms of personal and professional aspects; determine the impact of the student outcomes (SO) to MIHM; determine the relevance of the courses taken in the current position; and test the significant difference on the skills gained when grouped according profile.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are considered to be one of the most important technologies of the 21st century. While a single sensor node may have limited computation and communication capabilities, putting a large number of them together leads to the creation of ad hoc networks that can be used in reliable data acquisition and sensing. As a result, WSNs have been used in numerous applications in industry, health monitoring, environmental monitoring, and other related fields. However, the unprotected nature of WSNs makes them prone to malicious attacks. One such attack is the replay attack, in which an attacker captures and replays packets traveling in the network. As sensor nodes only have limited energy resources, this attack can have a serious impact on useful network functionality: it can dissipate time and network resources, causing degradation to the sensor network quality, security, and reliability. In this work, the effects of Bloom filtering and other technologies to counter this attack is studied. The use of Bloom filters can help identify the legitimacy of a packet: sensor nodes will be able to distinguish between legitimate and replayed packets along a path, thus improving a node’s decision as to whether it should transmit or discard the received packet. The potential utilization of signatures is also explored as a useful addition to this approach. Findings are coupled with extensive results regarding energy used, packet count, and throughput using Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) as the underlying routing protocol. Finally, the possibility of tracing and identifying the source of the attack is considered by employing appropriate trace-back mechanisms.

The study determined the employment status of the graduates of BS Electronics Engineering from 1999 to 2011. It also addressed the relevance of the ECE program outcomes and school factors to their employability. Pertinent data were gathered using a questionnaire and the sample size of 180 was determined using Slovin's formula. Findings revealed that the graduates are highly employable in a wide range of industry such as electronics manufacturing, electronics design, telecommunications, broadcasting, and data communications and ICT-related areas, were able to pass the licensure examinations and other certifications, currently enjoying regular permanent job positions as supervisors, production engineers, process engineers, educators and others, and are working for companies located in Metro Manila and industrial zones in Laguna and Cavite. A significant number work abroad as OFWs. Only a small number are employed in the province of Camarines Sur mainly due to the lack of electronics industries and employment opportunities in the area. The skills the graduates found most useful to their first jobs are critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills. Suggestions were given such as the inclusion of industry-utilized software and enhancement of the OJT program, more hands-on activities in the curriculum, exposure to industry while studying, and job familiarization among others. The findings of the study can serve as basis for curriculum review and revision to meet the demands of the industry.

Tracing the graduates of the School of Education (SED) indisputably provides a relevant data on their employability and their job satisfaction. The online tracer report chronicled sixty alumni who responded to the questionnaire floated on the Google Form platform. The year the alumni graduated from San Isidro College covered from 1985 to 2020. Their response as to the time duration they were able to get employment indicated 43% in a matter of months and 36% within 1 to 2 years. As to their job satisfaction 48% rated that they were very satisfied and 47% were satisfied with their jobs affirming that their Alma Mater had honed them to be prepared in their teaching craft.

Abstrak Pusat Penempatan Kerja dan Pengembangan Kewirausahaan atau Unit Pelaksana Teknis Pelatihan Tenaga Kerja adalah unit pelaksana teknis di bidang pelatihan tenaga kerja dan perencanaan karir bagi mahasiswa/alumni Perguruan Tinggi. Unit Pelaksana Teknis ini tidak berorientasi pada mencari keuntungan tetapi bertujuan untuk membantu mahasiswa menata masa depan. Pusat Karir perlu memberikan informasi kesempatan kerja bagi mahasiswa pada perusahaan-perusahaan partner Perguruan Tinggi. Dengan adanya bantuan hibah yang diberikan oleh Kemenreistek Dikti maka Penyelenggaraan PHTS bermaksud melaksanakan kegiatan tracer study di Perguruan Tinggi yang terstandarisasi dengan menggunakan desain dan metodologi yang baku secara nasional. Adapun hasil yang diharapkan adalah tersedianya Informasi biodata alumni/lulusan saat ini terdata melalui buku wisuda seharusnya bisa terdata lebih rapi menggunakan Sistem Informasi Akademik yang telah dimiliki oleh institusi. Proses pengiriman informasi melalui SMS dirasa cukup mudah dan efisien. Akan tetapi memiliki beberapa kendala apabila nomor handphone yang terdata sudah tidak digunakan lagi atau sudah tidak aktif. Penggunaan aplikasi Qtafi online cukup memudahkan dalam membuat kuesioner tracer study secara online. Akan tetapi memiliki kelemahan dalam hal integrasi data dengan Sistem Informasi Akademik yang telah dimiliki oleh institusi. Jumlah responden yang mengisi kuesioner masih dibawah target yang diharapkan, hal ini dimungkinkan karena rasa kepedulian atau kurang menariknya proses pelacakan alumni bagi pada lulusan/responden. Sehingga tim harus mencari cara untuk membuat para responden lebih tertarik untuk mengisi kuesioner. Hasil analisa kuesioner dapat menjadi masukan kepada pihak institusi dalam melakukan perbaikan di proses pembelajaran dan layanan serta fasilitas.

This study aimed to determine the extent of satisfaction and adequacy of the knowledge and skills that graduates have obtained from PNU in connection to their current employment. The data were gathered through a validated survey questionnaire and were interpreted using frequencies and percentages. The study made use of convenience sampling and the survey was administered both online and face to face. There were 1,826 PNU alumni from various programs, both graduate and undergraduate levels from 2010 to 2018 who served as respondents of this study. Findings revealed that competencies and skills learned by PNU alumni at the university, Human Relations Skills, Communication Skills, and Knowledge and Technical Skills have been considered as the most recognized and relevant of all the skills as viewed to a large extent. In terms of adequacy of the skills learned at PNU, the alumni respondents indicates that critical thinking skills, communication skills, human relations skills, and content knowledge are adequate at great extent. Still, it is highly recommended that improvement of research skills and ICT skills shall be given emphasis in the curricular enhancement.

The study pursued to discover the employability of the graduates, as well as their employment profile. The study used quantitative research approach and utilized a descriptive method as research design to present the result thoroughly. It was conducted among 107 Journalism graduates of PUP-COC throughout four academic years. The researchers found out that most of the graduates are indeed employed in jobs connected to arts, media, and communication, which
garnered 36.54% of the total participants. Most of them are single and 24 years of age. 74.77% of the respondents are currently permanent/regular employees in their jobs. With the gathered data, the researchers conclude that through their
competent communication and interpersonal skills, graduates are more likely to land on jobs connected to the degree they’ve studied. The researchers therefore recommend the college, particularly the department to develop its curriculum to cater to the ever-evolving world of journalism that now ventures beyond print and through multimedia.

– This tracer study determines the employment status of the graduates of Doctor of Dental Medicine of Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) from 2008-2012. It assessed the relevance of the Dentistry curriculum, knowledge, skills and attitude acquired by the graduates deemed to be relevant for their employment; identify the personal and professional characteristics and job placement of Dentistry graduates and the school related factors associated with their employment. This tracer study used a descriptive research design. The study described the experiences of the graduates before and after employment. The graduates conveyed their personal observations regarding the situations they faced after graduation. The findings showed that majority of the Dentistry graduate-respondents are presently employed except for one whose primary reason is family concern and decided not to find a job. Most of the graduates had their first job as associate dentist with recommendation from the department or alumni of the college and opted to put up their own private practice after 6 months. Rewarding salaries and benefits are the main reason for staying on the job and are all enjoying a professional career in dentistry with initial gross income of 25,000 pesos and above. The following school related factors for job placement such as curriculum and instruction for the general education and professional subjects, student services and faculty instruction were found to be relevant in meeting the demands of the graduates' dental profession. And the following are the work related values gained by the graduates such a love for God, honesty and truth, professional integrity and leadership. These values were found to be very relevant in the practice of the profession.

The main objective of the study is to determine the present employment status of the graduates of BS Electrical Engineering from 2007-2010. It established among others, the level of employment , professional registration, labour mobility, job satisfaction and utilization of skills. The study also assessed the relevance of the Electrical Engineering program outcomes and school factors to the world of work. The study had 79 respondents which were purposively selected because they used the same curriculum. A big number of graduates are passers of licensure examination and other certificates and attend to various relevant trainings. Significantly, findings revealed that the graduates are highly employable in a wide range of industry such as Consultancy, Design and Inspection, Operation, Maintenance and Repair and Electric Utility and holding a position that varies from supervisor, designer, academician, technician, and staff engineer. Metro Manila and its suburb turned out to be the number one importer of manpower although a significant number are employed in overseas. A high mobility rate was found among the graduates for various reasons, among others, low salary, insufficient benefits and hostile environments. Respondents, in general, acknowledge the positive contribution of the program to their professional development. They admitted that it developed their ability to engage in lifelong learning, critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills. Recommendations for the improvement of the program were given, notably exposure to modern electrical equipment with hands-on experience on the different software used by the industry, and provide a course that will prepare them to supervisory and managerial positions.

Gillnet fishermen in Semarang often have difficulty determining the fishing grounds. The aims of the study were to analysed the spatial and temporal distribution of sea surface temperature (SST) and chlorophyll-a, to analysed the relationship between variables and to study the estimation of fishing grounds. The data collection method used purposive sampling. Map processing using the Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW) method. The data processing method uses normality test, classical assumption test and linear regression test. Analysis of image data spatially (4 miles from the shoreline) and temporally (west, east and transition monsoons). SST and chlorophyll-a tend to be high near the shore. The lowest SST (28.82OC) and the highest chlorophyll-a (5.11 mg/L) occurred in the east monsoon. The highest SST (31.74OC) and the lowest chlorophyll-a occurred in the west monsoon (1.31 mg/L). SST and chlorophyll-a have an erratic distribution pattern during the transitional monsoon. The value of SST and chlorophyll-a correlation partially to catch was 14.3% (weak) and 74% (very strong). The correlation value of SST to chlorophyll-a is 30.2% (medium). The correlation value of SST and chlorophyll-a simultaneously with catch is 75.3% (very strong). Determination of fishing areas based on high chlorophyll-a1 values and low SST. The coordinates for determining the fishing ground include 6° 53' 24,858" South Latitude 110° 26' 0.071" east west monsoon, 6° 55' 43,941" LS 110° 24' 47,903" east longitude transitional monsoon I, 6° 55' 29,439" latitude 110° 25' 54,790" east longitude, and 6° 55' 11,394" latitude 110° 26' 15,904" east longitude of transitional monsoon II.

BSIT graduates of SY 2004-2010 are competent despite difficulties encountered along skills, attitudes and knowledge.

Some of the factors identified by the respondents that could help improve their competitive edge are the pre-service trainings, job placement program, teacher education curriculum enrichment, and Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) review program.

This study aims to acquire employer feedback on B.S. Information Technology graduates of ISAT U Miagao Campus. This descriptive study used the survey questionnaires to gather data from the 54 employers and Mean was used to determine the average of the numerical data set. Results showed that 30% of the company where the graduates employed were BPO, Trade/Retailing (11%), Academe (11%), Manufacturing and Financial (7%), Bank and Telecommunication (6%), Public Office and Hotel (4%), Pawnshop, Religious, Law Office, Travel Agency, Engineering, Manpower Services, and LGU (2%). On the Frequency of Supervision, on Daily basis (39%), Weekly (22%), Annually (20%), and Monthly (19%). With a composite mean of (4.22), the employers were extremely satisfied with the graduates' knowledge and understanding of the Job. With an overall mean of (4.20), the employers were very satisfied with the general qualities of the graduates. With an overall mean of (4.04), the employers were very satisfied with the general skills of the graduates. With an overall mean of (4.20), the employers were very satisfied with the attributes of graduates. The employers suggested to put emphasis on the written and oral communication skills, and improve the self-discipline of the students.

A state with citizens equipped with scientific and mathematical skills is on its way to industrialization. Equipping citizens with these skills needs effective science and mathematics education which can be achieved by putting into priority the education sector of a country. Republic Act No. 10533 paved the way for the implementation of the K to 12 Education in the Philippines. Senior High School (SHS) starts this June, 2016 and questions on readiness among schools, teachers and students are being raised. This descriptive – developmental research utilized unstructured interview and survey to the purposively selected 21 Grade 10 Math teachers and 350 randomly selected Grade 10 students of the Sorsogon City Division. The gathered data were treated statistically using frequency count, percentage and mean. Findings revealed that students are moderately ready on 17 out of 25 prerequisite competencies of General Mathematics and not ready on 9 of them. An over – all MPS of 40% is attained which means that they are moderately ready for SHS's General Mathematics. There is an identified least mastered competency per content topic of General Mathematics and a set of Strategic Intervention Materials, AniMath is proposed as an intervention material in order to help the students master the least mastered competencies. Teachers should be aware of the specific prerequisite competencies of SHS's General Mathematics and together with educational leaders, they should make sure that the prerequisite competencies are mastered before teaching the new competencies in order to ensure readiness.

This study aimed to determine the employability of the graduates of Bachelors of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management of one State College in the Philippines. Descriptive quantitative design was used in this study. This study found that majority of graduates are successfully employed locally and internationally, but only few are working internationally because of extreme qualification and ample requirements. Majority acquired their first job in less than three months. Ironically, the graduates still had a struggle or difficulty in finding a job because of few job vacancies or lack of position or item. Most of them are working in the hotels and fast food stores. Most of them also have their jobs relevant to their field of expertise and are regular employees. Majority of them receive a gross monthly salary of ₱5,000 to less than ₱10,000 which may not be really and practically enough, especially for those who have family dependents and other special responsibilities. The place whether local or international, position, and type of company are factors to the type of salary the employee will receive. Those who work internationally receive more than those who work locally or in the Philippines. All of the skills (i.e. entrepreneurship skills, knowledge and technical skills, management and critical thinking skills, oral and written communication skills, human relation skills, problem-solving skills, and information technology skills) are believed to have been useful, helpful and relevant to their current employment.

Suatu perguruan tinggi sangat membutuhkan informasi mengenai data alumninya, jurusannya, tahun kelulusannya, tempat para alumni tersebut bekerja, dan masih banyak lagi kegiatan–kegiatan perguruan tinggi yang sangat erat hubungannya dengan para alumni. Beberapa universitas-universitas di Indonesia masih memiliki kendala dalam mengkoordinir data alumni, diantaranya masih memakai sistem manual dalam pendataannya, hal ini sangat menyulitkan bagi pihak universitas. Tak terkecuali dengan STT DHARMA ISWARA MADIUN yang masih belum memiliki suatu sistem informasi yang mampu menyimpan dan mengelola data-data alumni.
Oleh karena itu akan dirancang dan dibangun sebuah sistem layanan informasi untuk menyimpan data-data alumni secara terstruktur, aman, dan dapat diperbarui dengan mudah dan cepat. Dalam pembuatan sistem ini pemrograman dilakukan dengan menggunakan bahasa PHP versi 5. Dengan adanya sistem informasi penelusuran data alumni ini diharapkan akan mempermudah bagi pihak terkait dalam mengelola data-data alumni secara cepat.

Resumen-En los últimos años, el concepto de la edad del agua subterránea se ha estado expandiendo, al punto de comprender la naturaleza de los regímenes de flujo subterráneo. Es necesario conocer el comportamiento y naturaleza de las aguas subterráneas, como una medida prioritaria para proteger su calidad y garantizar a la población aguas aptas para el consumo humano. En el siguiente estudio se establecen métodos para determinar la datación y conocer los regímenes de flujo de agua subterránea y acuíferos, necesarios para sentar las bases de la gestión de las aguas subterráneas. Abstract-In recent years, the concept of groundwater age has expanded to the point of understanding the nature of subsurface flow regimes. It's necessary to know the behavior and nature of the groundwater, as a priority measure to protect its quality and guarantee suitable water for human consumption. The following study establishes methods to determine the water dating and know the flow regimes of groundwater and aquifers, necessary to lay the bases for the groundwater management.

Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are considered to play a significant role in developing, shaping and enriching the acquired education of students. At present, the spiral continuum of teaching-learning process is deemed necessary to achieve the educational goals of the Philippines. Using the Glassman theory which is a functional framework in education, labor sector, and market industry relationship, an interplay exists between and among the students, teacher's methodologies, and learning environment context that produced graduates who are responsive in the challenges that one faced towards his employment. Said institutional products had truly embraced and instilled within them the appropriate knowledge, skills and core values that they had learned. Mentioned indicators were also evident in their respective workplaces and are contributory in achieving the mission of the University. Hence; they carried the best practices in attaining quality service for the common good of the people that they are serving. Using the purposive sampling, this study had described the Infanta Campus graduates' profile and employment data. Involved as respondents are the graduates per se and the employers of Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE) major in Social Studies and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA). Further, to improve the services along different areas an exit evaluation survey was administered to address its weak points as the case may be. Quality measurement is a requisite to prove the curriculum relevance; thus; gathering the employers' assessment using a feedback instrument is given top priority to meet the needs and standards of one's workplace. It was revealed that they are highly satisfied with the different services that they received from their institution which means that the service providers possess the appropriate technical-know-how and are academically equipped in performing their respective functions as reflected on the evaluation result of the respondents. On the other hand, employers hire graduates who possessed appropriate eligibility and show competence in accomplishing assigned tasks and leadership skills. This implies that organizations are outcomes-based driven in hiring applicants.

Differential surface water discharge measurements in the Upper Nahr Ibrahim Valley were conducted using uranine tracer. Both tests prove that a massive infiltration into the J4 aquifer exists in the Upper Nahr Ibrahim Valley. During the first campaign an infiltration of around 40 % was measured, while it was around 35 % during the second campaign. The main infiltration zone was identified but infiltration may also

The objective of this study was to determine the employment profile and to obtain occupational information among the B.S. Information Technology graduates of Southern Iloilo Polytechnic College-WVCST Miagao Campus from academic year 2010-2011 to 2014-2015. This descriptive study used the survey questionnaires to gather data from the B.S. Information Technology graduates. The respondents of this study were the 121 B.S. Information Technology graduates who accomplished and returned the questionnaires to the researcher. Frequency count, percentages, ranking and mean were used as statistical tools for this study. Results of the study showed that 95.04% of the respondents are employed with 96.61% having IT related jobs; 52.54% have permanent position, and almost 45% are temporary/contractual; Almost 78% of the graduates are in a rank and file position, and 23.48% are employed in a service type of company. Almost 50% of the graduates are recommended by someone and 40.87% are walk-in applicant; More than 40% of the graduates spent 1-6 months after graduation to find a job, and almost 48% have 1-2 years length of service; More than 11% of the graduates are working in BPO, and most of them are satisfied with interpersonal relation at work, and physical condition of work place, and geographic location of work place. However, they are moderately satisfied with salary and the fringe benefits and opportunity for professional development. The respondents considered the PC Troubleshooting and encoding as the most useful tools they learned in college; They considered the ICT skills as the most useful competency learned in school to help them find a job. Other competencies considered useful were communication skills, problem-solving skills, logical-thinking skills and critical-thinking skills. Finally, the respondents suggest to review the curriculum, improve school facilities, and hire educationally qualified and competent faculty.

Graduates' employability indicates the excellent education and relevant preparation they obtained from their respective degrees. Tracer studies have enabled higher education institutions to profile their graduates while also reflecting on the quality of education they provide. With the foregoing, a tracer study determined the demographic and academic profile of teacher education graduates from 2017 to 2020 in a state university in the West Philippines. It also ascertained the advanced studies they attended after college, their employment data, the relevance of college preparation with their current employment, difficulties they encountered while securing employment and in their present job, and recommendations to strengthen the teacher education program. This descriptive research determined the extent of employability of science education graduates from 2008-2018 in a state university in the Philippines. The study also ascertained the graduates’ retrospective evaluation of the science education program in the aspects of adequacy and relevance.  A total of 49 purposively selected graduates responded to the online survey questionnaire. Results revealed that there is a very high employability rate of the graduates of the university. Their educational experience and skills learned are very relevant in their current workplace. They evaluated the 10 program areas as good and indicated that the program outcomes are adequate and relevant. On the basis of work accomplished by the European COST Action 620, a comprehensive approach to groundwater vulnerability and contamination risk assessment is proposed, taking into account the special characteristics of Slovene karst aquifer systems. The Slovene Approach is consistent with national environmental legislation and enables comparison across European countries. The method integrates temporal hydrological variability in the concept of groundwater vulnerability and offers a new possibility to combine surface and groundwater source and resource protection, which required the development of a new K factor (karst groundwater flow within the saturated zone). The risk analysis considers intrinsic vulnerability, contamination hazards and the importance of the source or resource. It has been first applied to the Podstenjšek springs catchment in southwestern Slovenia and validated by means of two multi-tracer tests with a total of six injection points. The resulting vulnerability, hazard and risk maps are plausible, and the validation confirmed the vulnerability assessment at the representative sites that were selected for tracer injection. The maps provide improved source protection zones and make it possible to identify land mismanagement and to propose better practices for future planning.

La communication propose de faire un point sur l’utilisation des systèmes de positionnement par satellite pour l’analyse des déplacements complexes des individus hypermodernes. Sur la base de travaux de recherche menés depuis une douzaine d’années en France et au Grand-Duché de Luxembourg, elle montre l’importance de ces systèmes dans l’analyse des mobilités et les apports
possibles pour les politiques publiques de mobilité. Elle insiste sur les représentations cartographiques produites comme outil d’analyse et outils de dialogue avec la population et les décideurs et propose quelques pistes pour demain.

This communication deals with an assessment of the GPS use for analysing complex trips of hypermodern individuals. Based on research conducted since a dozen years in France and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, it shows the importance of these systems in the analysis of mobility
and possible contributions for public transport policies. From a focus on cartographic representations produced as tools for analysis and dialogue with the public and the policy makers, it sets out some pointers for the future.
