The characters, especially Victor and June, are loved for their badass and protective nature. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5What. The. Fuck. Was. This.
This was a fucking ride y’all holy shit!
It wasn’t as immersive as Vicious at first, but then shit started happening. I particularly enjoyed learning about Eli’s past. At one point I even felt sorry for him, but then I recalled what kind of person he was. In Vicious we had Victor searching for Eli and in Vengeful we had Eli trying to figure out who his copycat was. I must admit I found Eli searching for his copycat much more thrilling than Victor searching for Eli in Vicious. The moment he made his discovery was honestly quite satisfying.
I think I can safely say I liked Vengeful more than Vicious. There was much more tension and display of superpowers. It was as if I was reading a book about X-MEN (and I do live X-MEN). But aside from that, I liked Vengeful more because of the writing, too. It was clearly visible how much Victoria has improved. The story became so much more complicated and detailed.3 people found this helpful
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5jeeeeeeeeeez are all my favorite book trying to kill me this year.... what the hell was this ending ... you can't end it like this and expect me just sit and wait T.T
okki now that am little bit in control of my emotions ... jeeeeeeeez what a book ... the high pace took me on a roller coaster, the switch between present and past was smooth as usaul and was really happy to know more of Eli's background.... but more than that my heart was and will always be with victor.... my sweet boy trying to fix himself while trying to protect his little family.... Sidney trying her best along with Mitchel to protect him.... and DAMN that woman Marcel... still kinda hoped for more from her but was still satisfied with her ending and Eli's ....
YET... .damn it victoria.... why did you do this... how can you expect me to wait ... i want MORE T.T2 people found this helpful

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Just not the book for me. Guess I'm just not in to this book toke me forever to finish
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I really want to like this series. And it's not horrible. I just struggle to get into it.
I will say the narrator feels like he is 'droning on' instead of telling a story so perhaps I find it difficult to listen to him with this story.
