About this ebook
' you shall love thy crooked neighbour / with thy crooked heart '
I have been primitively shy, and especially writing about myself or an extension of my self has been difficult. But here I am anyway, sharing a part of me with you great people. I am humbled by this experience.
I started out in tenth grade and pushed through eleventh grade with writings as my sole reliever.
As someone very greatly said, ' Books are the very proof that Magic exists' - I would like to share my Magic with you.
From Journal, to Blogs to Publication; Surely these have come a long way. Isn't that with everyone else?
So to all those who have just started- Go all the Way through.
Arunima Mehrotra
Born in the mystic land of a thousand gods and vast sublime Landscapes, I am a production of India. Every since a kid I have been fascinated with literature. And bringing that fascination up to a level of passion is the reason I am right here, in front of all you good people. I cannot recall a time when I haven't been reading or writing. it seems at times, my entire existence is rolled up in the essence of literature. Apart from this, my other forte is painting. They are quite eccentric, I admit, my fields of interest. But what can one do- when they have so much inside and no idea how to pour it out?

Centre of The Universe
When you look at the leaves falling
Or the Silhouette of beams and railings
Or the drooping Stars,
Does the inevitably of it all not scare you?
How your bones will crumble away like Pastries and the Blood in your Veins just bloom to rot again.
How the galaxies you long held, fall apart like old magnets and the dreams coiled underneath your collarbones spring out only to be faded away.
Does the fear not grip you?
Does something not pound against you chest as you look at your toes and nails and tremble at the revelation?
How your own truth; You being the Centre of the Universe, seems like a whisper among the howling stars.
Coward
Who are you?
Really.
You don’t look like a Protagonist, but talk like one.
You don’t laugh when the crowd laughs; Your pupils darken at the sight of the sky; You yearn for touch, but reject it nervously;
Such a Coward
Why do you look at me like that – like you are about to
