Tales of the Driftnpoet - Darrell Kellogg

    IT’S ONLY LIFE

Exotic, erotic, a lover of words

Something that’s written is bound to be heard

If not today or tomorrow, then somewhere in time

Life in itself is much like the rhyme

    The same mistakes repeated anew

Till locked in your memory, they form a clue

    With ladies and fun

    But so does the darkness

    And life on the run

    Here I stand

Not knowing which way to roam

To the right or the left

Or turn around and go home.

    KNIGHTS

    IN RUSTY ARMOR

In days of old, when knights were bold

    Their tales were never
