    Within these pages are a few of my first completed pieces of writing. The intention of these writing pieces is to get my voice heard without being physically verbal, but verbal with my words on a page.       Reality

      N ightmares clouds my mind as I sleep, dancing neath my eyelids.

      I quiver and shake, sweat coating my skin as the terror soaks into my soul.

      The scene before my sleeping eyes plays as if it’s an amazing rated horror movie.

      So terrifying, never have I seen such horror in my young life.

      Pretending monsters aren’t real, we walk through life unguarded.

      We assume they are as unreal as the boogeyman, as fake as the legendary killers of horror.

      But who says they’re fake?

      They are as real as my presence in this very room.

      Turns out …

      This is reality, not a dream.

      Condemned

      Y ou shall wither and corrode

      In this old rocking chair,

      For you are condemned to a cruel fatality.

      I n your long, pitiful life,

      You caused internal bloodshed.

      Hurt so many others,

      Became a deadly icon to
