relationships past and the future
i have realised that
the idea of love
is a little flawed
you see,
falling in love
with someone is not it
you fall in love with your friends
and things
and places
it’s the kind of love that
remains constant in your life
it heals
it supports,
and most of all it understands
i know secretly you are waiting
for the right person at the right time
but don’t crave for love too much
it comes when it has to
it’ll be quick and slow at the same time
it might end soon
or last till your forever
but for now
fall in love with things
and people
and the sky
and your favourite colour
fall in love with every version of you.
i was looped
into the idea of love
two people, dating who may not
entirely deserve each
