About this ebook
L. Love continues her poetry journey in Falling Forward. She's failed, fallen, and been broken more times than she can remember, but one philosophy has always kept her going. If I should fall, fall forward.
Unraveling. Resilience. Grace. She's done the first, remained the second, while always keeping the third. Follow L. Love on another emotional journey as she reveals what it's been like to fall while still moving forward.

Falling Forward - L. Love
For all of those who have stood by me. You know who you are. And for my family. I love you.
Part 1
Unraveling
––––––––
I bleed on these pages and paint a masterpiece with my
vulnerability.
Unfiltered.
Raw.
For you benefit and mine.
Sabotage
We all spell sabotage differently.
You spell it with my name in your mouth.
And you so nonchalantly replace the truth with your colorful lies.
My own memory playing tricks on my mind.
How do you do that so effortlessly?
You are so careless with my life as you set fire to everything I have left.
But none the less,
I do have one last request.
After you burn me to the ground and inevitably play your most mastered role, the victim,
pray for me,
then pray for your safety.
Poison
You are like Christmas clutter.
Excess.
Too much.
Red Rose
She is angry as a rose,
graceful and seductive.
But the thorns are not misleading.
If you choose to take advantage of her simplicity,
she walks away with her integrity.
And you, well,
you remain pointless.
