In our class this week Apple Fun! That is what we had this week. On Friday we had a blast during our apple centers. A big thank you to Mr. Langlois and Mrs. Bowser for coming in and helping us. We peeled and cut apples in the morning for our applesauce. It was put in the crock pot and cooked all day! The students also had a great time making the special crafts and measuring with apples! The unanimous favorite was eating the applesauce. Our class also learned the word the this week and also reviewed letters. We finished up our first math topic on counting and completed our unit on Gods wonderful creation of light. Last, we learned about different types of families in social studies.

A Peek at the Week Ahead

Next week we will learn the word and, begin to focus on individual letters starting with Mm, and learn the parts of a book. We will begin a new topic in math on numbers 6-10 and learn about St. Francis in religion. In science we will mix colors to see what happens in a science experiment and in writing we will work on using finger spaces and punctuation.
