Remedies to turn inauspicious Rahu into auspicious one

To pacify the ill-effects of inauspicious Rahu you should wear a silver chain in your neck or
carry anything made of silver with you.
Set afloat barley washed with milk in flowing water to increase the auspicious results of
Rahu.
You can also keep fennel seeds beside your pillow to get the benefits of an auspicious Rahu.
To decrease the ill-effects of inauspicious Rahu, you can also donate jaggery, wheat and
copper according to your capability.
The results of an auspicious Rahu also increase if you take bath with ganga water and
sprinkle it in your home from time to time to maintain the purity of your house.

Meaning
I offer my obeisances to Rahu who was born from the womb of Simhika and who has only
half a body yet possess great power, being able to subdue the Sun and the Moon.
These mantras are normally chanted on 108 japa beads and may be recited for 18,000 times
within 40 days during night and puja should be performed with blue flowers and sandal
wood. One can begin the recitation of the mantra on a Saturday during the bright half of the
Moon. Presence of Kali and Durga yantra at the place of recitation may help one in achieving
the desired results faster.

on pilgrimage would be beneficial for him. If Venus is also benefic, then after marriage the
natives in-laws could also become rich. When Moon is exalted, the native would become
very rich and would benefit from the works or relatives associated with Mercury. If Rahu is

6. Rahu in the 6th House:-

leads to false allegations. one may even go to the extent of contemplating suicide. Telling
lies, deceiving others etc. may make Rahu even more malefic. If somebody sneezes at the
start of any new work, it gives malefic effects. There may be theft, diseases or false
allegations. If Mars is with Rahu here, then it gives good results.

Unlike other planets of the solar system Rahu and Ketu are not observable, substantial
heavenly bodies, with shape or mass content. Rightly termed as shadowy planets, their
movement is interrelated and as parts of one body they are at all times just opposite to each
other . Greater significance has been attached to the role of Rahu in influencing human
affairs in various dimensions, especially in Kaliyug.
The author of Lal Kitab describes Saturn as a serpent and Rahu and Ketu as its head and tail
respectively. As a node of moon, Rahu shall not provide adverse results so long as 4th
house or moon is not afflicted. He gives good results when Mars occupies houses 3 and 12,
or when Sun and Mercury are in house 3, or when he himself is posited in 4th house. Rahu
further provides good results if placed together with Mercury or aspected by him.
Rahu offers highly beneficial effects if placed in houses earlier than Saturn. But if it is
otherwise, Saturn becomes stronger and Rahu acts as his agent. Sun provides very good
results when Rahu is aspected by Saturn, but Rahu gives the effects of a debilitated planet
when Saturn is aspected by Rahu.
Rahu gets exalted in houses 3 and 6, whereas he gets debilitated in houses 8, 9 and 11. 12th
house is his 'Pakka Ghar' and he proves highly auspicious in houses 3,4 and 6. Saturn,
Mercury and Ketu are his friends, whereas Sun, Mars and Venus are his enemies. Jupiter
and moon are neutral to him.
If Sun and Venus are placed together in a horoscope, Rahu will generally provide adverse
results. Similarly, Rahu will provide bad results if Saturn and Sun are also combined in a
horoscope. Here Mars will also become Mars negative. If Ketu is placed in houses earlier
than Rahu, Rahu will provide adverse results, whereas Ketu's effect would be zeroed.

1st house is influenced by Mars and Sun, which is like a throne. The planet in 1st house is
considered to be the king of all planets. The native will achieve a position higher than

Sun is placed. If Mars, Saturn and Ketu are weak only then Rahu would give bad results,

It is said that whatever good or bad occurs during this period is meant for learning and
growth of an individual. One certainly ends up on the right side at the end of it.
Remedies for Rahu Dasha:

In Vedic Astrology, a set of remedial solutions have been found to be effective for soothing
out the negative impacts of Rahu Dasha.

1. The most effective way to soothe down a malefic Rahu is by donating iron weapons, iron
sheets, electrical equipments, blue-colored clothes, blankets, sesame seeds, mustard oil,
coconut, radish, and red-colored cereals amongst poor and needy. On Wednesdays and
Saturdays, distribute Mathari, Halua, radish, and leaves amongst poor.

2. Donating Rahu related gemstones is another effective remedial solution.

3. One should abide fast on Saturdays. Also, one should donate rice to poor and Brahmins on
that day.

4. One should help those suffering the problem of leprosy.

5. One should assist poor in getting their daughters married.

6. Buy yourself a new pillow, sleep with your head over it for one night, and donate it on the
morning of the next day.

7. One should refrain from consuming alcohol and eating tobacco during the period.

8. If one is living in a joint family, one should move out to live separately.

9. Worship Lord Ganesha and Goddess Durga. Keep your worships in specifically dedicated
to the fulfillment of the purpose of soothing of Rahu Dasha. Always carry them along in
some form, say as an image in your wallet, or pocket.

10. Feed dogs, in specifically with sweets.

11. Wear Gomedha (hessonite) gemstone, not less than 6 carat, embedded in silver, in the
little finger of the right hand. Also, tie dry ginger in black thread and wear it around your
neck.

12. Chant Mantras of Om Ram Rahuve Namah and Om Gan Ganapataye Namah for 108
times daily after sunset, while sitting with face towards South-West.

The Rahu's mantra may be recited for 18,000 times within 40 days during night and puja
performed with blue flowers and sandal wood. Begin recitation on a Saturday during the
bright half of the Moon.

Presence of 'Kali and Durga yantra' at the place of recitation may help you in achieving the
