The key takeaways are that there are two main types of sentences in Arabic - verbal and nominal sentences. A nominal sentence consists of a subject and a predicate, which must agree in gender and number.

The two main types of sentences in Arabic are verbal sentences and nominal sentences. A verbal sentence starts with a verb while a nominal sentence starts with a noun.

The two main parts of a nominal sentence are the subject (al-mudhabbah) and the predicate (al-khabar). The subject is the noun about which something is said, while the predicate provides information about the subject.
