Vasa Trainer Owner, Mike Degen took a variation of the Vasa Conditioning Circuit for Surfers and made some modification to
meet his needs. Alternate Workout #1 and #2 to keep your routine fresh and be better prepared to catch more waves. The
circuit of exercises can be performed on your Vasa Trainer. Warm-up for 5-10 minutes with surf paddling.
• Frequency: 3 - 4 days per week, every other day (alternate workout #1 and #2 for balance).
Vasa, Inc. suggests to swim or do aerobic training between strength workouts.
• Resistance: Start at lowest setting and increase by 1 increment for each additional set until 15 reps are
difficult to complete using good form. Add stretch cords, power cords, or weights as needed.
• Rest: Rest 1-2 minutes between exercises. Do a set of one exercise, rest, then do a set of the next
exercise, rest and so on to complete the circuit. Repeat circuit for second and third sets.
