The mode of communication in the community is through the PLDT wireless Phone
System, mobile phones and via the Computer/Internet. Public transport is through the all-
too-familiar jeepneys and tricycles.
While there are also a number of unemployed residents and out-of-school youth. The
efforts of the Sangguniang Baranagay are geared towards economic self-sufficiency. One
of its projects, in close coordination with the Sangguniang Kabataan is to provide skills
training for out-of-school youth to better prepare them for a full-time job or to venture
into their own businesses. The project, aptly dubbed as YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
THRU LITERACY AND TECHNOLOGICAL SKILLS (or YELTS), is a collaboration of
the QUIASO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TECHNICAL EDUCATION SKILL AND
DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (TESDA) and the SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY &
SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF QUISAO. Initially, the project is offering
WELDING, PC (COMPUTER) OPERATION and ACCREDITATION AND
EQUIVALENCY (Basic Literacy Program).
In terms of Medical Care, the nearest hospital is in the town proper of Pililla, called the
Pililla Medicare Hospital and handles simple and emergency cases. Other complicated
cases are brought to Tanay, Rizal where there are number of private specialty clinics and
hospitals.
Rizal Provincial Hospital, which was formerly in Pasig, Metro Manila, was transferred to
Morong, Rizal and has since benefitted more patients in this easternmost side of Rizal
and other nearby provinces. Morong is abour 18 to 29km from Quisao.
