    December 2, 2013

    Dear Parents, I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends. Thank you to all of the parents who were at conferences last week. I was happy to get a chance to discuss your students progress this first trimester. Included in the Monday folders is a letter explaining the Accelerated Reader program. Please note that the tests are taken in school only, NOT at home. We will be taking a practice test this Tuesday at computer class so the students can familiarize themselves with the program. They will be taking tests during computer time, so that Mrs. Bonk or I can help them if they are having any difficulties. On Wednesday, when we go to library, they will have a chance to take out two AR books of their choice. If you have any questions about the program, please feel free to send in a note or email me. The November Pizza Hut reading logs are now due. The December logs are in the Monday folders. Finally, the Rosary Christmas program will be this Thursday at Rosary High School. The high school is located at 901 N. Edgelawn in Aurora. Students need to be picked up at 4:20 p.m. Please be on time! Thank you. Have a great week, Mrs. Patsavas
