Week of April 28

This weekly newsletter from Ms. D's class provides important dates, what subjects the class is learning about that week, and reminders. The class has assessments coming up in math and will be focusing on test taking strategies. In reading, students are starting new novels and identifying literary elements. For writing, they will begin a narrative unit focusing on editing. Other topics of study include the Midwest region in social studies and electricity in science. The newsletter also lists students' birthdays for April and May and reminds about signed permission slips for projects and a field trip.
