conferences. Conferences will be held on
March 10, 12 and 13. Please use the QR code
to log onto the registration website or go to
www.glcomets.net and look at OurSchools/DeltaCenter/
Conferences to be directed to the website. Remember to
schedule a conference for each of your children. Please contact
the main office at 925-5540 if you have questions or are unable
to register online.

Calling all softball players that are ready for
the next step in softball! Registration for the
2015 summer softball program is now open.
Practices will begin when the weather
permits (typically after spring break) and games start the last
week of school. Please visit www.jrcometssoftball.com to
register (early registration deadline 2/28/15 - $100 ... after

Pretzel Fundraiser

Cub Scouts: Used Eyeglasses Needed
We have a Delta
Cub Scouts Pack 675, on behalf of the Lions
Center parent
Club of Grand Ledge, is collecting used
who is battling
eyeglasses. These are checked and sanitized
cancer. The parent
and given to those in need. A collection bucket is available
is currently being treated at the

Karmanos Cancer Center in
Detroit. We would like to
provide gas cards and
monetary support to the family
during this difficult time. On
Thursday, February 26th we will
be having a soft pretzel sale
during lunch. Each soft pretzel
will be $1 and all proceeds will
be given to this Delta Center
Family. Thank you for your
support!

Kindergarten Roundup Registration

If you know any families that have
students that will be starting
Kindergarten next fall please
have them check out the GLPS
website (www.glcomets.net) for
information on how to register for
Kindergarten Round Up. The students must be five
before September 1, 2015. If their birthdate falls
between September 1 and December 1, 2015 the family
can fill out a waiver.
Kindergarten Roundup will be held on March 17, 19, 24
and 25th. Appointments are required. Online registration is
now open. If you have any questions please call our
Roundup hotline at517-925-5740.

Reading Month is coming and our Spring

Scholastic Book Fair will be just in time to
replenish reading selections for your
child! With an undersea theme and
hundreds of new titles at the Fair, our
happy readers will be sure to meet their
Reading Month goals and head right into
April with enthusiasm for the new choices
in the library, their classrooms, and their
own collections! The Book Fair will be held from March 10th
through March 13th, with Family Shopping Hours on March
10th and 12th, from 5-8pm, and March 13th, from 8-11am.
There will be door prizes every hour of conference times, and
author Deborah Diesen (Pout-Pout Fish) will be making a
Special Guest appearance and signing her books on March
12th, from 6-7pm.
Volunteers are needed to help with the Fair. If you would like
