Conditions 1. The minimum age for all courses is 16 (15 in July and August). 2. No tuition is given at weekends or on public holidays: 20.2., 6.4., 9.4., 1.5., 17.5., 28.5., 7.6., 3.10. and 1.11.2012. 3. Day of arrival is the Sunday before the beginning of the course. Day of departure is the Saturday after the end of the course. 4. The accommodation arranged by KAPITO can only be used for the duration of the KAPITO course. Should participants occupy the rooms longer than the stipulated course period, KAPITO will charge a compensation fee. If the chosen accommodation is booked up, KAPITO will arrange accommodation for you in a different category. 5. Registrations must reach us together with the deposit at least 2 weeks before the start of the course.
6. If you cancel, your pre-payment will be refunded minus a handling charge of 100 , as long as notice is received in writing by KAPITO at least 14 days before the beginning of the course. If you cancel later the pre-payment will be lost. Moreover, 60 fee for arranging accommodation and 50 % of the costs of the booked accommodation for 4 weeks must be paid. After the beginning of the course, cancellation or shortening of the booked course are no longer possible. A course break can only be taken after 6 months at the earliest or by arrangement with KAPITO. 7. No reimbursement will be made for tuition which is missed due to the participants own fault. 8. We reserve the right to make modifications to the programme. In exceptional cases, the normal maximum number of students per group may be temporarily exceeded. Should the minimum number of students (4 in the case of group courses) not be reached, KAPITO reserves the right to modify the course programme (e.g. reduce the
number of lessons). The Intensive Course in the afternoon may overlap with the culture and social programme. 9. Participation in events is at the students own risk. KAPITO cannot be held liable for any loss or claims arising from illness, accident, injury or theft. Participants are recommended to take out health and liability insurance. Students can book such insurance through KAPITO. The school cannot be held liable for any loss or impairment of performance arising from circumstances of a force majeure. Nor can KAPITO be held liable for any third-party services not performed in the proper manner. 10. Parents registering students under 18 years of age agree that neither KAPITO nor the host families take responsibility for the supervision of minors. 11. It is also possible in specific cases for special arrangements to be agreed which deviate from these conditions of participation. 12. The place of jurisdiction is Mnster.
