    Dear Friends, I would like to invite you to participate as a volunteer at No Ordinary Evening, an event supporting the Declan Drumm

    Sullivan Memorial Fund and Horizons for Youth. This years No Ordinary Evening will be on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 6:00-11:30pm at Navy Pier. Volunteers attend for free, are provided with dinner and drinks, and have the option of staying for the rest of the night to enjoy the party. The Declan Drumm Sullivan Memorial Fund was established to honor the life of Declan Drumm Sullivan, a young man that was killed in 2010 at the University of Notre Dame while he filmed the football team. Declans family formed the Fund to honor his legacy and designated Horizons for Youth as the primary beneficiary of No Ordinary Evening. This is a black-tie optional event. There will be a formal program, sit down dinner, dancing, and both a live and silent auction. More on Declan and his family can be found here: http://www.declandrummsullivanfund.org/ Below is a list of volunteer opportunities including the number of people needed for each (if youre unsure where to help out, we can certainly plug you in where we think will be a good fit): Role AUCTION ROAMERS W/ HFY KIDS Description You will be paired with a student, encourage guests to participate in the silent auction and show them how to use the auction software with tablets or a smartphone. You will also help breakdown the silent auction at 7:30p. You will assist Horizons for Youth staff during the event with jobs as needed. You will give guests their silent auction certificates and baskets. Time Shift 1: 5:30p-8:45p Number Needed [17 volunteers needed] Training Monday, April 22nd from 6:00-6:45 PM or Tuesday, April 23rd from 7:00-7:45 PM.
