Objectives This module has the following general objectives: To give the students the basic knowledge about electronic data processing system. To give the students the knowledge about computer and its operations. To enable the students to understand the basic information about the word processing environment. To help the students develop skills needed in word processing operation. At the end of this module the student should be able to: Get acquainted with the Microsoft Excel application; Develop skills needed in electronic spreadsheets operations Performs basic mathematical operations, statistical and other related functions in Microsoft Excel; and Create graphical representation of data. At the end of this module the student should be able to: Know how to create and customize presentations Learn to format content Become skilled in formatting illustrations, graphics, text, and text boxes Learn to apply Animation and Transitions Know how to insert and modify multimedia Learn to share and secure presentations Understand how to apply, create, remove, and modify Styles on text, shapes, and pictures
