Ho Ho Ho Christmas is coming!
Here at CU Central Torbay, things are starting to get a little bit festive!!! The holidays are a great time to get involved with new things, and try out new activities. Watch out for the . So, you know whats going on locally near where you live, but take a moment to see what you can achieve with your passport all around the country.
Universities sometimes seem to use a whole different language, which is kind of cool, but can be really hard for other people to understand! So what does it all mean? When you go to university you are there for 3 years (which doesnt seem very much compared to school), and you are called an undergraduate. When you finish those 3 years, (and if you pass) you get something called a degree and you get a lovely certificate presented to you on graduation day meaning you are now a graduate. Hooray! At this point some people go on and get a job, but others want to stay and learn some more - they are postgraduates. When they finish they get a masters degree and get called master! For some people this isnt enough, they want to stay on and learn even more! When they finish they get a doctorate degree and people call them doctor. This doesnt mean that they look after sick people, it means they know lots and lots about one thing like maths. Now, between starting and finishing all of these different degrees, you can get extra rewards in between. For doing a little bit you get an award, a bit more and you get a certificate and for doing almost all of it you get a diploma, before finally getting your degree. - Get it?

What are you doing with Childrens University? Well, I am constantly hours towards it, and Ive got nearly 400. Its really fun as before. I had no idea how much learning I did outside of school. What is it like? Really fun, and I thought the graduation was really good too. What are you learning? Ive started doing a lot more now, and I have learned how much I am capable of.
