    The use of unearthed power supplies (IT systems) is of the essence in all electrical installations where high operating safety and reliability is paramount. IRDH275/375/575 - the new family of innovative A-ISOMETERs is exactly adapted to the requirements of modern power supply systems. The new AMPPlus measuring principle allows exact measuring of the insulation resistance, even in extended IT systems and installations including variable-speed drives.

    Comprehensive information and clear indication via a plain text display and yet simple-to-use makes this device family stand out where safety is important. Time is gained and expensive interruptions can be avoided thanks to advance information.

    All text messages are displayed as plain text on the illuminated display and are emphasized by brightly lit LEDs.

    Additional information such as system leakage capacitance, parameter values etc. are immediately available at the press of a button.

    The user-friendly menu structure and large keys makes the device simple to operate.

    Variable installation
    The panel-mounting enclosure is easy-to-install into the fascia of a switchboard. In this way, the entire information is available to the user at a glance. Terminal cover and shock-hazard protected connection terminals provide additional protection. The IRDH275 series is designed for installation into a switchgear cubicle (DIN rail).

    Basic function
    The A-ISOMETER IRDH275/375 measure the insulation resistance and indicate the measured value on the display. If the measured value falls below the preset value, an alarm message is provided.

    Monitoring several interconnected IT systems


    Only one A-ISOMETER may be active in each IT system. The A-ISOMETERs IRDH275B/375B can be configured accordingly so that this requirement will always be met when several IT systems are interconnected. The RS485 interface (BMS protocol) provides the necessary information exchange between the A-ISOMETERs.

    Insulation monitoring with automatic fault location (EDS)


    If an insulation fault occurs, it must be localized and eliminated in order to guarantee operating safety. For fast, automatic localization of the faulty circuit, the IRDH575 and the insulation fault evaluator EDS47...12 with the appropriate measuring current transformers are combined to provide a complete insulation fault location system.
