3.

Attendance

Your full attendance to the course is highly urged. Daily attendance shall be strictly enforced. We cannot tolerate any absence. The course is compact, engaging and interactive. 4. Penalty

As mature adults, everybody is expected to be self-disciplined. However, to ensure prompt and punctual attendance, a penalty system is recommended. Tardiness in the morning, afternoon as well as during coffee/tea breaks will be penalized in the amount of MAD_______ per minute. Absences will also be penalized based on the amount agreed upon by the group. Participants who

leave in the middle of the sessions without any excuse/permission will be levied a heavier penalty. The facilitators/resource persons will be subjected to the same rules but double the amount levied on the participants. The participants will decide how the collected money will be used. In past programs, the penalty fund was used to finance social activities in the course of the training. Participants will decide on what signal to use to announce the start or resumption of a session. A clock is provided in the training room to synchronize all watches. 5. Maximize Your Participation

Your time and efforts are your precious investments. What you get depends on what you give. Therefore, we strongly urge you to maximize your participation by avoiding absences and tardiness, as well as by actively participating in all the training activities. 6. Interact with Trainers/Resource Persons

Interactions between and among trainers/resource persons and participants are strongly encouraged. Your facilitators and resource persons will provide time for consultation and discussion with you on your assignments. 7. Maximize the Presence of Your Co-Participants

You and your co-participants possess a wealth of practical experience and useful knowledge in their own respective fields. We encourage you to share your experiences with one another for your mutual benefit. Learn from each other. The course provides a good forum to network, discuss opportunities and possible business collaboration. 8. Style of Training

The conduct of the course is anchored on the learning by doing methodology. Lecturettes are kept to a minimum. The training methodology's key features include making use of participants' contributions, experiences, and insights and allowing participants themselves to discover their own learning. Internet is an important ingredient of the course. It holds the facts and information and the course holds the appropriate learning processes. 9. Distribution of Handouts

No handouts will be distributed. A virtual depository of the materials will be announced by the Chief Trainer. Everyone is encouraged to use this storage space and get the materials needed. To derive significant benefits from the handouts, you are urged to read them during your spare time. 10. Class Website

The class website is in http://agadirconsult.weebly.com. You are requested to register you name as a participant. We will use this site (and others that may be designated by the Chief Trainer) for course coordination and class assignments. You are encourage to visit these sites regularly even after the course has ended. 11. Fieldwork Activities

The course requires some fieldwork activities to be undertaken in small groups. Participants are expected to participate in these activities. The fieldwork is undertaken as part of the requirements for successful completion of the course and the outputs will be prepared and presented to evaluators. 12. Training Materials & Supplies

All officially registered training participants will be provided with a set of training handouts. There are training supplies that are for facilitators use. These supplies may be borrowed and you are kindly requested to inform secretariat of the date and time of borrowing & return.
