'e are wor3ing towards developing a ro$ust model2$ased engineering framewor3
for safety critical applications. Proven system is used as a case2study to develop this
framewor3. 1tall warning5 aircraft interface computer, 6oc3pit (isplay and Pitch
)uto Trim -P)T0 is used as a case study. The critical functionality of this application
is developed in 1imulin3 according to /))* standard and with in2house developed
mutation tool, we generate test cases. The simulin3 generates auto code from the
model and the code is run in L(7) tool to generate test cases. The ro$ustness of the
framewor3 is demonstrated $y applying it for critical functionalities of safety critical
applications and verifying the auto generated test cases from re8uirement stage to
validation stage.

The 1)7)1 aircraft $eing designed and developed $y 61&7 +)L is e8uipped with a
state of the art Stall warning system which is responsi$le for alerting the aircraft
crew a$out angle of attac3 information which in turn gives the stall warning. The
system also provides the Landing, Ta3eoff, 4ydraulic low pressure, Pitch trim and
overspeed warnings. The application software is designed as per the 7T6) (;!<.*
