Industrial Protocol Translation and IED / SCADA Communications


ADVANTECH Hardware Platform with RSC Protocol Solutions

RSK-PGA is basically an application worked with ADVANTECH made controllers &


RTU. It is most advanced and flexible solution for data sharing among diverse control
systems using different communication protocols.
RSK-PGA provides fast and economical solutions by utilizing the existing infrastructure
or developing new infrastructure in the most efficient way.

RSK-PGA Gateway
Power RTU capable of performing the following
functions:

Designed around an open ended distributed


processing configuration consisting of main
processor, peripheral I/O modules, termination
panels, power supplies & communication
equipment/interface.
Collecting, processing and transmitting status
changes, accumulated values and analog values.
Time resolution for time tagged events and
function to Time Synchronization.
Receiving and processing digital and analog
commands from the master station(s).
Accepting polling messages from the master
station(s)
Support Multi-tasking, to enable RTU to
concurrently scan input status, whilst executing
application program or reporting functions.
Function of switching of channels if dual data
communication channel is available.
Abundant communication protocol library
available, which includes IEC870-5101,104,103, DNP3 etc. It also contains
protocols of different kinds of relays and
intelligent energy meters. These protocols can
be modified according to user's needs.
Alarm functions (SMS, Email) for fault
isolation, for maintenance personnel.

Substation Gateway:RSK-PGA can


communicate with SCADA System /
remote devices (RTU / PLC / Transformers
/ IEDs) and transfer the data to Remote
Control Centres.
Automatic / Remote Metering Device:
RSK-PGA can read data from meters and
communicate this data to AMR
Applications.
Protocol Converter and Data
Concentrator: RSK PGA can
communicate with Multiple IEDs over
RS 485 and extends the full control for
the Master Station over single interface
for all the IEDs.

The RSK-PGA Gateway supports the
XP/ Windows 7 based computers provided with
following Protocols:
required serial and Ethernet ports.
Embedded Systems: RS IC Gateway supports
IEC 60870-5-101 Master/Slave
WINDOWS XPE / CE based devices. RS IC gateway
IEC 60870-5-103 Master/Slave
