SCENE 1
Narrator
: This story is about a teenage girl named Sara who lived with her parents. Let us
follow her story. Her parents are workaholic. They always abandoned their daughter.
Sara
: Dad, are you free this weekend?
Jeffry (Dad)
: *shuuhh* (on the phone) Dont you see Im busy here! Go and ask your mom.
Sara
: Errr.. Mom, do you have any plan this weekend?
Sofea (Mom) : Sorry dear, Im busy with my club this weekend. We have to do some charity
work with Datin Nora. I have to show to my friends that I am a good leader so they will elect me
as the club president next year.
Sara
: But this weekend is public holiday! Its been quite some time since we last spent
our quality time together. Dont you miss that moment mom?
Sofea (Mom) : Sara, you have to understand our situation here. Nowadays, money is
everything! Your dad and I work for your future too! If I am the president of the Club I can
easily get the tender for your fathers project. Now go to your room and study. I have so many
other things to do. Dont say a word. Im your mother!
Sara
: Oh! How could you do this to me mom! (Sara ran to her room and cried)
(Sara was crying while talking to her friend over the phone)
Sherry
: Whats up girl? Why are you crying?
Sara
: *Sobbing* Im sad, my parents ignore me. They treat me like they dont realize
my existence. I am their only child for god sake.
Sherry
: Oh my god! Are you serious? Why did they do that?
Sara
: This morning, I asked my parents to go for a vacation but they turned me down.
All they think is money! *sigh* The last time we spent time together was two years ago.
Sherry
: Its okay Sara. We are in the same boat. My parents are busy with their work too.
But I dont give a damn. I just want to enjoy myself. How about you join us this weekend? Trust
me, you can release your tension with us!
Sara
: Are you serious? I thought I was not invited.
Sherry
: Sure! See you this weekend!
SCENE 2 (HOLIDAY)
(SARA IS SAD)
Sherry
: Babe, dont be sad. Chill out and relax. Were on holiday now!
Joe
: Hey girls, whats up? Sara, come on, dont be like this. I booked this place for
fun! Come on, smile dear! Try this drink, it helps to relax your mind.
Sara
: *Smile* Alright, lets have some fun. Were going to party all night long, Joe!
(Sara, Joe, Sherry dancing together.)

(SARA UNCONSCIOUS)
Sherry
: Oh my god Joe! What have you done?!
Joe
: I have put some pills in Saras drink. I didnt expect she would be like this. I just
wanted to try out this new ecstasy that I made myself. Sherry were in trouble! We have to get
out from this place. Im afraid Sara is dead. Lets run!
(Joe holding Sherrys hand)
Sherry
: We cant leave her alone! Let me go!
Joe
: We must leave her now. Do you want to take the risk?
Sherry
: Yes of course! I will take the risk, Sara is my friend! My best friend!! Youre
such as useless friend, Joe!
SCENE 3 (HOSPITAL)
Mom
: What have you done to our daughter?!
Sherry
: I can explain what actually had happened. But first, Id like to apologize.
*Sherry explained everything*

Mom
:*slap Sherry* Go! Just go!You guys have ruined my daughters life!
(DR.RYAN WALKED OUT OF THE ICU ROOM)

Dad
: Doctor, hows her condition?
Dr.Ryan
: Are you her father?
Dad
: Yes doc, is my daughter alright?
Dr. Ryan
: Thank god she was sent here fast by her friend. If not she would remain in
comma for brain damaged. For now, she is under medication and still unconscious. The drugs
that she took were very dangerous and can damage her brain or worse more can cause her death.
Well, I guess for now all I can say is that, you should pay more attention on her. She has to be
monitored from time to time. Dont put her under stress. She needs extra love and attention.
Teenagers like her are in the process growing up. They like to experiment new things, they love
exploring new adventure. We as the parents need to be there to monitor them. Okay, please
excuse myself. I need to go, there are a few emergency cases that I need to attend to.
Dad
: Thank you doctor, my wife and I will make sure we give our love and attention
to our daughter after this.
SCENE 4
Mom
: Sara my dear, please forgive us for our mistakes. We promise to pay more
attention on you. We have neglected you.
Dad
: I wont forgive myself if anything bad happened to you. Im so sorry my darling
daughter. You are my heart and soul. We failed to take the responsibilities that god had given us.
I am a bad daddy
Sara
: dont say that daddy. You and mom are everything to me. I really regretted
myself with what I have done. I didnt know what I had really done actually! I was so stupid. I
did stupid things without thinking. *sigh* I I just want our family to be happy like before, like
any other normal family.
Dad
: Ok baby, we are going to make it up to you. Oh dear, Im so sorry you have to
go through all this. Youre our only child, youre the most precious thing in our lives. We dont
want to lose you.
Sara
: *Tears of joys* Promise me mom, dad that you wont neglect me ever agin after
this. I need both you more than anything else in this world.
Mom & Dad : Yes! Of course! We promise dear, we love you so much!
Sara
*THE END*
: I love you too mom and dad.
