AMR was dispatched to 1116 Stanley. While there, they observed several
bottles full of urine. They said there were bugs in the bed and very little food.
They left before we were dispatched.
There were several bottles labeled that the consumer said were full of
urine. There was food in the house. The consumer was able to answer questions.
Not a CIT at this time.
Brandon from AMR requested a report for Adult Protective Services.

(Walmart West) when she came out to smoke. The victim stated, she
observed/heard the suspect honk at her from an older white Jeep. The victim
stated, the suspect then went to a near by gas station. The victim has a protective
order on file against the suspect. The suspect was GOA.

several small children and adults. He also broke the TV and stole a tablet. He fled
the scene on his bicycle. Officers searched the area and failed to locate the

FENDEL, W. M.
Ronald (IO1) was driving down the alley behind his house and saw in the back
yard of 701 E. Columbia a scooter that matched the description of one that was
stolen from a friend a couple of weeks ago at 1634 E. Indiana. Ronald said he sold
the scooter to his friend, Amy (VI), and that she had not yet reported it stolen
because she didn`t know the VIN.
Russell (IO2) was in the back yard with several other males when Ronald
approached them. Ronald said that all of the males, with the exception of Russell,
fled when he said he was calling the police.
Amy was contacted and came to the scene and Russell willingly gave back the
scooter to her and Ronald. Amy said the scooter had been chained-locked in her
back yard prior to it being stolen two weeks ago.
The scooter was damaged and had been modified.

him for his ID the suspect got really angry and started yelling at the victim, at one
point he told the victim he had killed a bunch of your kind in the war and he would
kill him too.
Officer Hales arrived on scene and removed the suspect from the store.

The victim had let the suspect stay a couple of days at her apartment. On the
evening of 11-30 police were called because of an argument between the victim
and the suspect. The victim left her own residence for the night. When the victim
arrived back home on the morning of 12-01, the suspect had ransacked the
apartment and had stolen the victims rent money order and drivers license from the
top drawer of the victims dresser.
The victim took pictures of the mess the suspect created.

The victim tells me he has lived in New York for several years. He says he`s here
for a court date and also to see his son in Tennessee. He explains the
circumstances around his son and his son`s mother has got him not thinking
straight . He tells me he had contacted his nephew about a game machine and two
games for sale. He told me he went to an apartment in Oak Dale where he spoke to
the boy`s mother about the selling of the machine. She told him, her son, should
not sell it so cheap because she had too much in it. This was on this past Saturday.
The victim tells me for three days the boy keeps texting him about the machine.
Finally last night around 8PM he`s getting a ride to the west Walmart from a
Deanna Hall he says had sold him life insurance that day. The boy mentions
meeting at a park along Fulton Ave. The Victim agrees to meet but makes it the
Gas station at 7 N. Fulton instead. The boy tells him they will meet him at one of
the pumps. He tells me he approaches the car sees on the rear seat the game
system, says he opens the rear door and leans in. He`s talking to the driver and
asks him about the two games. He does not see his nephew. The driver is shuffling
around he thinks for the games, he says he passes the $100 to him and he stands
back up. The Passenger then gets out he thinks to go into the store. Instead with
his hands in his hoody he tells him he has a gun. He tells the victim to get into the
car. The victim told me he grabbed the man`s arm and held it for a minute then ran
toward the store. No one followed and the car fled off. He told me he asked the
clerk to call police. After this he has received he says are threatening text from he
believes the suspects.

Officers were flagged down at the Dollar General on Weinbach Ave near
Pollack Ave in reference to an intimidation that occurred at the Star Market (507 E
Powell Ave) a few hours prior. The victim stated she had called 911 at the time
but never made contact with officers.
The victim stated she was following her friend, Involved Other, to the store
when the IO was nearly involved in a collision with the offender near Governor
and Missouri. The victim stated she was followed by the offender after the near
collision as she traveled south to the Star Market at Powell and Governor. The
victim stated she was then approach by the offender while waiting in her vehicle
which was parked on the street in front of the Star Market. The victim stated the
offender knocked on her window then stated, "You`re lucky you are a female. I
would have already aired out your car out by now."

While speaking to the IO, she stated she circled around the store prior to the
offender`s encounter with the victim. The IO, stated while doing so she observed
a drug transaction take place between the offender and another person in the
parking lot of the Star Market. The victim and IO stated there were no weapons
displayed during the incident.

advised the victim had a history of medical conditions. An EPD Sergeant, AIU
Detective, and Crime Scene Detective were called and arrived to the scene. A
Vanderburgh County Coroner was also requested and arrived to the scene.

A bystander called 911 to report that the clerks from the Express Pantry were
chasing a male on foot. The caller thought it might have something to do with the
male stealing from the store. Officers arrived on scene and spoke to the victim and
witness. The victim stated the offender came into the store stole a 2 liter of Ski and
exited the store without paying for the merchandise. The victim went after the
offender and attempted to retreive the stolen product. Once the victim caught up
with the offender, he threw the 2-liter and punched the victim in the face causing
pain.

Schnucks 1st Ave VICTIM of Theft- Shoplifting < $750 (C), at 3700 N First Ave,
Evansville, IN, between 17:14, 12/01/2016 and 17:16, 12/01/2016. Reported:

I was dispatched to 3700 N First Ave. (Schnucks) in reference to a Shoplifter.
The reporter stated the suspect entered the store and selected three bottles of
alcohol and concealed them on his person. The suspect then exited the store
passing all points of sale without rendering payment for the selected items.
I made contact with the suspect and placed him in handcuffs. The suspect was then
read a Miranda warning. The suspect admitted to stealing the alcohol. The suspect

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 hangup and a
possible family dispute. When we arrived, Craig L. Hills, stated that his wife,
son, and himself all got into an argument and pushed each other. Craig L. stated
that he was trying to call 911 in reference to wanting officers to tell his son, Craig
A. Hills, to leave his home. While he was trying to call 911 the wife, Nancy Hills,
pushed Craig L. and hung up the phone. Craig L. stated he then pushed her back
which then caused the son Craig A. to push him into the wall. All parties stated
that they did push one another and they all advised that they did not want to press
charges. Nancy stated that she believes that her husband, Craig L. has dementia
and refuses to get help. All parties seperated for the night. Nancy stated that she
is in the process of getting a divorce with the husband and we advised her on how
to obtain a PO.

Dortch advised that she is friends with the suspect. She advised that tonight, the
suspect came over and they began arguing. She stated that she began making a cup
of coffee and the suspect came up behind her, wrapped his hands around her neck
and squeezed, restricting her airways. Dortch stated she could not breathe, but
never lost consciousness.
Dortch advised she was not comfortable staying at the apartment complex, because
the suspect lives on the second floor [3 floors below her]. She also stated that
someone had taken her keys prior and she notified management. She stated
management has yet to replace the keys or locks to the apartment. She is scared
that the suspect has the keys and would hurt her. She requested I contact Albion
Fellows Bacon Center. They advised she would be allowed, but she could not
bring her pet. Dortch refused to leave her cat behind. She was given several more
shelter locations but was advised it would be difficult to find shelter tonight, with
her cat.

Officers were dispatched to a battery report at 419 Keck Ave. Upon arrival
officers met with the victim who was sitting on the couch inside the residence of
her sister. The victim had very swollen eyes that were red and inflamed. The
victims eyes were also bloodshot and both her eyes were starting to turn black. She
stated that she had went to a friends house with her son when she found out that
her sister wasn`t home. She stated that she had fell asleep on the couch waiting for
her sister and was awaken by someone jumping on top of her. The victim stated
someone was holding her feet while another individual was punching her in the

head and face. After sometime the offenders eventually got off of the victim and
fled out the front door. The victim followed to try to see who it was and was able
to identify the two subjects as they were trying to leave the area. The offenders are
related to the victim and she has no idea why they decided to beat her up. The
victim was talked into filing a report by other family members because she was
afraid she wasn`t going to be able to see her grandkids anymore.
Crime scene was called to assist for taking pictures of the victims face. She was
also advised that she may need to seek medical attention based on what the injuries
looked like at the time of the report. Victim was given a case number and
explained the follow up process.

Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of Bayard Park for a family dispute.
Officers arrived on scene and spoke with both parties. Both advised that the
opposite party had placed their hands on the other. Both stated that the other
started the fight first, which caused the other to defend themselves. Both parties
said that they had been drinking prior to police being called. Both subjects were
highly intoxicated at this time. Neither party had complaint of pain or any marks
while officers were on scene. Both parties have dated on and off in the past and
decided tonight to try and live together again to fix things. One party left the
residence for the night until trying to work on things at a later time. Both were
advised of a report being taken for battery.

Officers were dispatched to a criminal mischief of a vehicle report in the 200 block
of N Rotherwood Ave. The reporter stated that he and several involved others got
into a verbal dispute while inside an apartment. After the dispute several subjects
went outside and then the reporter discovered that his mother`s vehicle had been
vandalized. The reporter told Officers that he could not name for sure who the
suspect was. Officers arrived and took a report and listed the other involved
participants in the report.

Officers were dispatched to 2508-240 Old Business 41 for a theft report. The
victim, Lori Gunhammer stated she had items taken from the room.
Gunhammer advised she left the room on 11/30/2016 at approximately 1900
hours. Gunhammer advised when she came back to the room on 12/01/2-16 at
approximately 1700 hours she noticed she had items missing. Gunhammer stated
she is staying here with her daughter and her daughter`s boyfriend, Spears.
Gunhammer stated Spears advised her he woke up and noticed a male in the room.
Spears told her that the male did have some of Lori`s items and he gave them back.
Lori stated she is missing a purse that had several makeup items inside and some
jewelry. Lori requested a report be taken for the incident.
She was given a case number and advised to call if she locate the stolen items.

Inhabited Dwelling (C), at 1153 Covert Ave, Evansville, IN, between 21:00,
12/01/2016 and 00:00, 12/02/2016. Reported: 12/02/2016.
HERRMANN, E.
Officers were dispatched to 1153 Covert Ave Apt. A8 for shell casings and
bullet holes. The victim, Valerie Hatfield, stated that she came home and noticed
there were shell casings in the hallway. Hatfield then noticed there her door was
kicked in and there were bullet holes in the door leading to her apartment. Hatfield
stated she believes this occurred around 2100 hours when the Fire Department was
called to this address by her neighbors for smelling smoke. Hatfield stated no one
was home at the time of this incident and no one else currently lives with her.
Hatfield does not believe any items were taken. Officers located 2 shell casings
in the upstairs hallway leading to her apartment. Officers also located bullet holes
in the front door, her living room wall and her bedroom door. It appears that a
bullet went through the front door, into the living room wall, and then into the
door. The apartment door that opens to her apartment had damage to the frame and
locks.
Crime Scene was called to the scene to document and collect evidence.

2061 Cass Ave, Evansville, IN, between 01:10, 12/02/2016 and 01:10, 12/02/2016.

The victim called police after her husband whom she is going through a
divorce with made threats to kill her tonight. And was trying to get into a back
room she was staying in. On scene, officers found the suspect here and tried
mirandizing him. Further questioning was not forthcoming at the time. Officers
tried securing the suspect in a patrol car when he refused to comply. Other
officers arrived to assist and securing the prisoner in a transport van. He was taken
by the hospital for evaluation before jail. He was later booked into the VCCC for
felony Intimidation and Resisting Law Enforcement.
