    COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP SNEHA THHEERAM

    As a part of two year B.Ed curriculum of University of Kerala, our college, Kerala
    University College of Teacher Education(KUCTE) Kariavattom, organized a five day
    community living camp at Govt.youth hostel, Veli, Trivandrum. The residential camp
    was named as SNEHA THEERAM and conducted for a periodof five days from 18 th
    to 22nd April 2016 aimed at fostering qualities like discipline, co-operative living,
    fellow feeling, social responsibility, promoting dignity of labour etc.on the occation
    of five day camp we were organized various programs like visist to places of
    importance, awareness and skill development programs, community services,
    cultural programs, camp fire etc.

    The community living camp provided us a platform for gathering information,


    sharing ideas, organizing co-curricular activities, acquiring skills, democratic and
    social values essential for an ideal teacher.
