FIRST QUARTER

I. OBJECTIVES:

CONTENT STANDARD:
Undertakes physical activity and physical fitness assessments.

PERFORMANCE STANDARD:
1. Maintains an active lifestyle to influence the physical activity participation of the
community.
2. Practices healthy eating habits that support an active lifestyle.

LEARNING COMPETENCY:
Discuss the physical fitness test procedures.

2. Activity Proper
Group the class into five (5).
Let each group discuss the following topics:
G1- Body Mass Index, Push-up and Basic Plank
G2 Zipper Test, Sit and Reach and 3-Minute Step Test
G3- 40-Meter Sprint and Standing Long Jump
G4- Hexagon Agility Test and Stick Drop Test
G5- Juggling and Stork Balance Stand Test

Discussion of the result of the activity the teacher
Teacher discusses further the content
4. Abstraction/Generalization
What benefits can we get from doing the physical fitness test?
5. Application/Valuing
The teacher will demonstrate the different tests to the class then the
students will answer what kind of tests does the teacher demonstrated.
