PERSONAL STATEMENT
My mission as an early childhood education teacher is to motivate, encourage, and support students by
providing a safe, secure and loving community to educate them socially, emotionally, and cognitive so they can
continue to build a foundation for life-long learning and a love for education. Therefore, I have chosen to
follow my passion for school and study early childhood education.

Bachelors of Arts in Early Childhood Education

GPA 3.5/4.0; Life Scholarship, Presidents list, Deans list.

TEACHER EXPERIENCE
Kindergarten student teacher, Gilbert Primary School, Lexington, SC January 2018- present
 Plan in advance science, social studies, math, and ELA lessons and modify them to fit pace of class
 Administer tests, track and analyze classroom performance
 Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and promoting student engagement
 Participate in faculty and parent conferences
 Conduct small groups and individual student conferences for reading, math, and science activities

Third grade practicum intern, Greendale Elementary School, Aiken, Sc August 2017-December 2017
 Designed and taught eight social studies, science and math lessons
 Constructed lessons to involve interaction between classmates as well as interaction with me
 Lead a small group and analyzed their reading abilities and comprehension
 Conducted Fountas and Pinnell running records and assessments
 Checked students accuracy and comprehension based off leveled readers
 Observed Individualized Education Program meetings

4k practicum intern, East Aiken School of the Arts, Aiken, SC January 2017-May 2017
 Conducted six reading and writing lessons and checked for understanding
 Assisted with morning routine such as letters of the week, recognition, writing, and learning the sound
 Organized stations that promoted social interactions as well as developing motor skills
