FEA Tutorials - NL5 PDF

This document provides an overview and steps for conducting a crack analysis of a curved wall using the MIDAS FEA training series. The analysis involves: 1. Modeling a curved wall with openings using curves, sweeps, and extrusions. 2. Applying a uniform pressure load and simply supported boundary conditions. 3. Evaluating the results by examining the principal strain and crack pattern. The document outlines 11 steps to generate the 3D curved wall model and set up the nonlinear analysis for evaluating cracking.
