Recently most people own mobile phone. There are two reasons why mobile phone users
increase dramatically in recent years. First, the features and functions have increased. Mobile
phones are not only used for calling, but also sending texts, taking pictures, recording videos,
browsing the internet, playing games and much more. Second, mobile phones have also become
a lot cheaper. Now this communication device not only fill the pocket of adults, but also
teenagers and students. Even a lot of mobile phones are intentionally design for teenaged market.
However, should student be allowed to bring their mobile phones to school?
Many schools do not allowed their students bring mobile phones to school. It is very
reasonable because bringing mobile phones to school potentially disturbs the learning process.
Most students use mobile phones iresponsibility. They use mobile phones to talk to their friends
during class time. They also use the calculator and camera features in class as well. Those
potentially leads less concentration in the time of learning and teaching process.
Students go to school to learn and behave fairly. Mobile phones provide a large
temptation you to cheat in tests, they can communicate to anyone and almost anywhere in the
world. Because of the small size of the mobile phones, students can send an SMS quitly and
discreetly. The text can go unnoticed anywhere to get help on answering tests, homework and
other class assignment. Learning in school is to behave fairly, niot to cheat.
Therefore, schools should ban students from bringing their mobile phones. However, it
should be done fairly. In case of an emergency, some students need a call for help, providing
easy access to phone is a must.
