2. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
2.1 EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
i) Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry
from a recognised University.
ii) Registration with the Veterinary Council of India.

(iii) The crucial date for determining the age limit in each case shall be
the closing date i.e. 06/03/2019 (06/03/2019) for receipt of On-
line applications from candidates.
(iv) Only the date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation Certificate
shall be accepted as proof for determining the age eligibility at the
time of direct recruitment and no subsequent request for its change
will be considered or granted.
(v) Candidates claiming OBC(NCL) status may note that certificate on
non-creamy layer status should have been obtained within three
years before the closing date i.e. 06/03/2019.
(vi) Candidates who wish to be considered against vacancies reserved
or seek age relaxation must submit requisite certificate from the
competent authority, in the prescribed format when such
certificates are sought by the Recruitment Board. Otherwise, their
claim for SC/ST/OBC(NCL) status will not be entertained and
their candidature/applications will be considered under General
(UR) category.

(vii) The formats of the required certificates are annexed with this
advertisement. Certificates obtained in any other format will
not be accepted.
2.3 PHYSICAL STANDARD(MALE & FEMALE):
The minimum physical standard for the candidates of all categories will
be as follows:-

(iii) Candidate possessing good mental and sound health and free from
any physical defect.
(iv) Candidate must not have knock-knees, flat foot or squint in
eyes and they should possess high colour vision. The candidates
will be tested for colour vision as per medical guidelines in
vogue. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free
from any physical defects likely to interfere with the efficient
performance of the duties.
(v) A colour blind person will not be eligible for appointment. If at any
stage of service career, a person is found to be colour blind,
he/she will be boarded out as per SHAPE policy in vogue.
(vi) Tattoos:
(a) Content: Being a secular country, the religious sentiments of
our countrymen are to be respected and thus, tattoos depicting
religious symbol or figures and the name, as followed in Indian
Army are to be permitted.
(b) Location: Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like
inner aspect of forearm but only left forearm, being non saluting
limb or dorsum of the hands are to be allowed.
(c) Size: Size must be less than ¼ of the particular part (Elbow or
Hand) of the body.
4. SELECTION PROCESS:
Admit Cards to the candidates will be issued online mentioning the date
and venue of recruitment test. Candidature of candidates who are issued online
admit cards will remain provisional till they are finally selected and submit all
related documents/certificates in original and in prescribed format at the stage
of verification of original documents. The candidates who arrive at the venue
without valid admit cards will not be permitted to appear in the recruitment
process.
(iii)
There Shall be no appeal against PET events by candidate
who fails in any event organized in this regard.
(iv) PET will not be held for Ex-servicemen. However, Ex-
servicemen will be required to pass the requisite PST,
written test and medical examination.
(v) Pregnancy at the time of Physical Efficiency Test will be a
disqualification and pregnant female candidate shall be
rejected at this stage in their own interest as per the medical
standard as applicable in this regard.
PHYSICAL Candidates who qualify the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will
STANDARD TEST be screened for Height, Chest and Weight measurements. Those
(PST) who do not meet the required physical measurements as
applicable will be eliminated at this stage.
VERIFICATION Candidates who qualify the PST will undergo verification of
OF ORIGINAL original documents. Original documents will be returned on the
DOCUMENTS spot after verification and self attested copies of certificates will
be retained with the application. Original copy of following
documents will be required for verification:-
PHASE – II
Note:-
(i) Minimum qualifying marks in the written examination (Part A and
Part B combined) shall be 50% for General/Ex-Servicemen and 45%
for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes/OBC(NCL).

(ii) All objective papers will OMR based or Computer based. All
subjective papers will be hand written in blue ink/ball point pen only.
(iii) Wherever applicable the questions will be bilingual in Hindi or English.
The answers are to be written in the language given in the instructions
of the paper.
(iv) No representation for revaluation of answer sheet of written exam or re
conduct of written examination will be entertained.
PHASE – III
INTERVIEW Candidates declared qualified in the written test would be
(PERSONALITY required to appear before the Selection Board for interview.
TEST)- 50 MARKS Candidates called for interview shall produce the original
certificates/documents as mentioned at Para-4 before the
Interview Board. Non-production of certificates/documents will
lead to disqualification.
PHASE – IV
DETAILED After the written test the shortlisted candidates shall undergo
MEDICAL detailed medical examination to assess their fitness for
EXAMINATION appointment as per medical guidelines issued by MHA, GOI for
direct recruitment in CAPFs from time to time.
PHASE – V
(ii) The appeal will also not be taken into consideration unless
it contains Medical Re-Examination Fee of Rs. 100/- in
form of Indian Postal Order and Rejection Slip (original)
issued by the Presiding Officer. RME fee in the form of
IPO should be prepared in the name DDO, Dte.Gen. ITB
Police, New Delhi. The appeal complete in all respects
should be submitted within 15 days from the date of issue
of Rejection Slip in which the finding of the Medical
Officer are communicated to the candidate. ITBP will not
be responsible for any postal delay.

5. MERIT LIST:
(i) Merit lists in each category namely, Gen, SC, ST and OBC(NCL) will be
drawn on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the written
examination and Interview.
(ii) In case of tie in marks, the candidate with older age will be placed higher in
merit list, if the tie still persists, then candidate whose name comes first in the
alphabet order (English) will be kept higher in the merit list.
6. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
6.1 All candidates who have been called for PET & PST will bring a clear
and legible print out of the online application form or else they may not
be permitted to enter the venue. The print out will be retained by ITBP
personnel for office use. All candidates are also required to bring clear
and legible print out of their online admit card at each stage of the
recruitment process.
6.2 Candidates are to ensure to keep sufficient number of same passport size
photos submitted by them while filling the online application form and
bring same passport size photos at all stages of recruitment.
6.3 Candidates in Central or State Government Service / Departmental
candidates should submit in original a “No Objection Certificate” and
DE/Vigilance clearance certificate from their employer at the time of
verification of original documents else their candidature will be rejected.
The candidature of candidates who have applied as Central or State
Government Service / Departmental but not belong to this category will
be rejected at the time of PET.
6.4 All eligible candidates will be duly informed about the date and venue
of the recruitment tests through admit card sent electronically on their
registered e-mail ID. Therefore, candidates should provide genuine and
functional e-mail ID and Mobile number at the time of filling online
application form. ITBP will not be responsible in case of any failure of
the candidate not receiving e-mail/admit card online. Candidates should
come duly prepared for more than one day stay under their own
