    From Forge to

    The history of heavy duty transporters in Germany and the whole world
    is closely bound up with SCHEUERLE. SCHEUERLE Fahrzeugfabrik GmbH
    has its origins in a forge founded by Christian Scheuerle in 1869.
    Christian’s grandson, Willy Scheuerle, began the development of spe-
    cial vehicles for heavy duty transportation in 1937. Since that time, his
    ideas have remained the inspiration behind this line of business. Most
    of his new ideas were trail-blazers and still continue to be the under-
    lying concept of many of today’s heavy duty vehicles. Since 1987,
    SCHEUERLE Fahrzeugfabrik GmbH has been part of the TII group (Trans-
    porter Industry International) of German industrialist Otto Rettenmaier.

    We have retained this pioneering spirit right up to the present time.


    Technical innovations and advances in heavy duty transportation
    technology always rank among SCHEUERLE’s foremost concerns.
    SCHEUERLE welcomes the challenge of continuing to set standards in
