The narrative report discusses the coronation of the first ever Mr. & Miss Valentine 2019 of Tungal Elementary School which was held to raise funds for the construction of a washing facility for the school.

The objective of the event was to raise funds for the construction of the washing facility for the school as Tungal Elementary School did not have a washing facility and it was in compliance with the Department of Education's WINS program.

Roda for Production Number (female category) and others.

NARRATIVE REPORT ON TUNGAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MR. & MISS VALENTINE 2019

Valentines Day is one of the most anticipated time of the year. It is known as the day of love and
friendship and celebrated every February 14. Every year, we are bombarded related to this celebration
as hearts, alluding to friendship and romances and celebration of the Mr. and Miss Valentine.

Tungal Elementary School launched the search for the first ever Mr. & Miss Valentine 2019
through the initiative of its Board of Directors and the General Parent-Teacher Association. The objective
of the event is to raise fund for the construction of the washing facility for the school. This is in
compliance to the memorandum order of the Department of Education, WINS program. TES do not have
a washing facility.

Everyone gathered in TES ground to witness the coronation. Forty-Seven candidates presented
their best and vied for the covetous title. The crowd witnessed the charm and elegance of the participants
from their dance and the song numbers from select pupils and guest.

The ceremony started with the processional of candidates, parents. Presenters, teachers, the
principal, judges and guests. This was followed by a doxology by Pupil Catholic Action Club, under the
Edukasyong sa Pagpapakatao Pupils’ Club.

Rendered display of honor and humility in Prelude were the pupils’ Theater Club followed by the
singing of National Anthem with Mrs. Lorena B. Atienza, Grade 1 teacher conducting. The pledge of
allegiance was led by Mrs. Merilyn B. Mirano, Grade 2 teacher.

Everyone was mesmerized with the welcome remarks of Miss Lorilyn D. Ebreo, TES Principal.
Also, Mrs. Marijoy B. Dorado, Board of Director President; Barangay Captain Danilo V. Armedilla of
Manggahan; Barangay Captain Lito M. Marco of San Jose; and, Barangay Captain Luciano B. Villanueva
of Tungal delivered their messages.

To help TES decide who among the candidates deserve to be the first Mr. & Miss Valentine, Mrs.
Marissa D. Atienza, Kindergarten teacher introduced the panel of judges. The judges comprised of Mrs.
Jeneth A. Castillo who is the Chairman, Mr. Ronaldo C. Merlino and Ms. Catherina I. Baldovino.

The prepared production and special number of the participants were astonishing. They were
stylish, well-groomed and trendy. The production and special numbers were choreographed by Mr.
Ronron Gahol and Mr. Franklin Reyes.

The candidates gave their best projections and made themselves visually appealing. But, of
course, only two winners, one male and one female from each title were chosen.

While waiting for the judges to calculate their scores, invited guest, Ms. Jhasmine S. Recio,
rendered a song number as well as Ashley Mae J. Pura, grade six pupil.

Select judges judged the special awards. The winners of the special awards were the following:

Moving-up to the finale, the crowd were very anxious and excited who the winners would be. The
most awaited part of the program, the crowning of Mr. & Miss Valentine has come.

Masters of ceremony, Mrs. Valyn Encarnacion, Grade 6 teacher and Mrs. Maricel S. Villanueva,
Grade 5 teacher, announced the winners.

For the main titles, the following were the winners:

1st Runner-Up (male category) - Clex Alvin B. Dorado


1st Runner-Up (female category) - Cathrine Rhoeis V. Roda

2nd Runner-Up (male category) - Gion Kenneth A. Malapitan


2nd Runner-Up (female category) - Jasmine Khate O. Perez

3rd Runner-Up (male category) - Jared Sedi L. Nolos


3rd Runner-Up (female category) - Judiel Charm Angel G. Serwelas

4th Runner-Up (male category) - Jamaica V. Masangkay


4th Runner-Up (female category) - Carl Angelo A. Villavicencio

Miss Valentine 2019 - Czania Ysabel P. Armedilla

Guests and donors pinned sash and awarded trophies and certificates.

Afterwards, Paul Vincent C. Espeleta, grade six pupil serenaded the winners.

Mrs. Nerissa C. Lasala, grade 3 teacher gave the closing remarks. She congratulated the
winners and thanked the crowd, the teachers, the BOD and PTA, all the presenters and donors without
whom this event would have not been possible.

To conclude, the success of the conduct of the 2019 Tungal Elementary School Mr. & Miss
Valentine is overwhelming. TES looks forward to conducting the same event again next school year.
