I. Call to Order:
The school has organized a General PTA assembly, on Friday, 1 st of October 2021 on the BES school
grounds at 9:30 in the morning.
The main purpose of the meeting was to assemble all parents and guardians so that they can elect the
GPTA officers for SY 2021-2022.
At the same time, to keep parents informed about how the school works, what is coming up and any
issues teachers have come across. This helps the school to improve and ensures that parents’ voices
are heard.
But the main reason for PTA meetings is to improve the learning environment for pupils, ensuring that
they learn to as higher a standard as possible. To create a common platform, where teachers and
parents come together to enrich the pupils’ educational experiences and discuss a variety of issues,
regarding the all-around development of students and the school.
C. Other matters
Mrs. Angie Hernandez, outgoing GPTA President also proposed a welcome address and introduction.
She said that GPTA should help raise funds for the physical facilities enhancement of BES.
The call to elect new GPTA officers was conducted. The following are the newly elected GPTA officers
for SY 2021-2022:
In this meeting, it was explained that for a school to function better, teachers and parents must come
together and discuss issues on how to sustain the safety of the pupils, school personnel, parents, and
visitors who come to the school.
Feed backing followed. Mrs. Encarnacion requested the parent-BHWs to collaborate with the school
and to continue to man the BES main gate to check the temperature of the learners, visitors, and the
school personnel who comes to the school every day.
Additionally, through the suggestion of Mrs. Bacay, the new GPTA President, some parents agreed to
alternately come to school every morning to help in clearing up leaves that had fallen on the school
grounds This undertaking will provide a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment to the school
children. It was stressed that health and safety protocols would be strictly observed.
Following this, parents were requested to express their intent and for interactive suggestions.
Mrs. Encarnacion expressed her gratitude to all the GPTA and the community leaders present.
The meeting was then ended ensuring that all matters that have been tackled and agreed upon were
fully understood by the concerned individuals who were hoping for positive outcomes.
