1. PURPOSE This document provides the listing of piping and plant layout related engineering standards and also identifies the following aspects;
Owner/ Reviewer responsibilities
The Engineering Standard number where it is only currently only available in
project specific format.
The applicability of standards to FEED and/or EPC projects.
2. SCOPE This index contains the Foster Wheeler (Reading) ‘50’ Series Engineering Standards.
Unless noted otherwise, the ownership of the listed standards reside wholly with the Piping Group. Where ownership is by others, the responsible group is noted against the specific standard with responsibility of the Piping Group limited to review and comment only.
3. INDEX OF STANDARDS The following notes relate to the standards listed within this section;
1. Standard is the responsibility of the Piping Group and intended to form part of a Foster Wheeler FEED specification package in addition for use during EPC.
2. Standard is the responsibility of the Piping Group and intended to supplement
the piping standards in 1) above where Foster Wheeler is responsible for EPC execution.
3. Standard owned by Equipment Group (Technology) with responsibility for
review by Piping Group.
4. Standard owned by Projects with responsibility for review by Piping Group.
5. Standard not currently issued corporately, where necessary use number for project specific standards.
