CCA Process and Guidelines

I. Inspect Assessment Area, tools, equipment, and materials


1. Using the Inventory checklist, check the facilities tools, equipment and
materials if they comply with the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
Standards

II. Pre-Assessment Activities


1. Greet and welcome candidates
2. Introduce yourself as the Competency Assessor for ____(Qualification)____
3. Acknowledge the following people:
3.1.Assessment Center Manager
3.2.Processing Officer
3.3.TESDA Representative
NOTE: They are here to oversee the conduct of assessment if we comply
with the TESDA required standards.
4. Collect admission slips
5. Call candidates one by one and have them sign the attendance sheet
comparing their signatures and faces to their admission slip
6. Show the accomplished Application form and Self-assessment guide indicating
that they are ready to be assessed.
7. Orientation, explain the following:
7.1.Purpose assessment
7.2.Context of the assessment
7.3.Evidences to be collected
7.4.Methods of assessment
7.5.Results
7.5.1. Competent - where and when to get NC
7.5.2. Not Yet Competent

III. Assessment Proper
1. Provide candidates with the materials tools and equipment
2. Administer the assessment

IV. Feedback and Results


1. Provide feedback (+Positive, -Negative (Constructive criticism),
+Recommendation)

4. Have the candidate sign the rating sheet and CARS

V. Post-Assessment Activities
1. Recording and reporting
1.1. Assessor will gather all of the evidences making sure that
everything is signed
1.2. It will then be passed on to the Assessment Center Manager
1.3. The Assessment Center Manager will then pass the documents to
the Processing officer for encoding
1.4. After encoding the Processing officer will now have the
documents and the RWAC Signed by the Assessor and the
Assessment Center Manager.
1.5. Once the documents have been signed the documents will now
be handed over to the TESDA Representative to bring to the
TESDA Provincial Office
