NOTICE INVITING TENDER FOR ELECTRICAL FIRE SAFETY AUDIT OF

THE BRANCHES/ATMs/E-SMARTs/OFFICES OF DENA BANK LUDHIANA
ZONE
Tenders
Quotation invited to conduct electric audit of branches in Ludhiana Zone, Dena Bank
Dena Bank Lucknow Zone intends to conduct electrical audit in our 54 branches/premises including onsite ATMs/E-
Lobbies, Currency Chests, Offsite ATM & Zonal Office. Out of the total Branches/premises 03 Branches including Onsite
ATM/E-Lobby are located in J&K and the rest are in Punjab. The Audit is being done to prevent possible accidents due to
electrical faults and to ensure that no penalty is being levied by electrical supplier company due to excess demand load and
/ or low power factor.
Dena Bank intends to invite quotation for the above said work from licensed electrical engineers.
The minimum educational qualification of an electric auditor/consultant should be having a Bachelor degree in electrical
engineering with three years experience or retired electrical engineer from Govt. sector or PSU sector or private
organization.
The Auditor’s firm requires the following necessary documents :-
1. Certificate for Authorization for Energy Audits issued by Office of the Chief Electrical Inspector separately for Punjab and
J&K.
2. Electrical Contractor’s Licenses, (Separately for Punjab and J&K)
3. Pan No.
4. GST No. (Registration)
5. List of Tools.
6. List of work done, last one year.
The offer should be given for two different states.
(a) Punjab - Branches/Currency Chests/Office (51) and Onsite ATMs (25 including E-Lobbies) and Offsite ATM (1),
detailed address list attached at the bottom.
(b) J&K - Branches in (03) and ATMs (02), detailed address list attached at the bottom.
Sealed offers are invited in two bid system viz.
Part 1. Technical Bid - Bio -Data of their firm with license number and above mentioned details in a sealed envelope.
Part 2. Price Bid – Price Bid per Branch/Premise (Branch/Premise and On Site ATM/E-Lobby will be treated as 1 entity
under the Branch/Premise) and per Offsite ATM be provided. The total number of days required to cover all
Branches/Premises state wise in totality be clearly mentioned under the Financial Bid Format in a sealed cover; both shall
be placed in one envelope by the offerer.

Post Electrical Audit the Electrical Auditor should assist in Tendering process, supervise the work, check and certify the
bills for payment, prepare and submit the as built drawings of the electrical works and certify that the electrical cabling and
installations of the Branch/Premise is safe and as per relevant IS Codes.
a) The Electrical Audit Report be submitted in the prescribed format in TWO Hard Copies and ONE Soft
Copy.
b) The firm which has done the electrical audit will prepare individual tenders for all the Branches/Premises
where the estimated cost of work is more than Rs.1Lac and tender for group of Branches/Premises in
other cases.
c) Works can be done after due Tendering Process under supervision of the electrical auditor for which fee
@rate applicable to the architect for renovation of Branches be paid.

(i) As per the guideline, the power supply inside the strong room must be provided through a cable, drawn out from the
electrical wiring inside the strong room. The free end of the cable must be provided with a plug. When the door of the strong
room is opened the cable can be drawn out through the grill gate of strong room and plug on its free end may be inserted in
a live electrical socket plug installed outside the strong room. Whether the compliance of the stated guidelines observed :
