4. PROCEDURES
4.1 Introductory Activity (5 minutes). Paste on the board different elements and let the students guess what kind group or set the
elements belong to.
4.2 Activity/Strategy ( 8 minutes). By Pair: Let the students write a certain group and let them write its members or elements.
Let them write 5 or more members in a certain set.
4.3 Analysis (2 minutes). Ask: 1. What have you learned from the activity? 2. Was it easy for you to write the
member/elements of the group/set? 3. Are the elements that you’ve written have the same
characteristics? 4. How do you define a set?
4.4 Abstraction ( 20 minutes). Discuss about sets and provide examples on roster method and rule method and verbal
description.
4.5 Application ( 10 minutes). By Pair: Let the students answer the given Verbal description of Set into Roster Method and
let them share it to the class.
4.6 ASSESSMENT ( 10 minutes). Pen and Paper Test: Let the students answer the given exercise on Roster Method and Rule
Method of Sets.
4.7 ASSIGNMENT (2 minutes). Let the students write their assignment on writing Sets in Roster Method and Rule Method
Form.
4.8 CONCLUDING ACTIVITY ( 3 minutes). "The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the
