INTRODUCTION
BACKGROUND OF STUDY
Many of the students don’t throw there plastic waste properly. They don’t know the
importance of the plastic waste they throw. We need to make a program to teach the
students how to recycle and explain or discuss about the plastic waste that they throw and
We recycle the more plastic waste. By recycling we can reduce the prices of products
because it lower the cost of making new products each time they are wasted. Recycling
reduce our dependence of landfills. The more we recycle the less we have to use the
THEORITICAL FRAMEWORK
This study or research will be based in other researcher done by theorist about the
segregation and how will effects the community. This research will also stress on impact
done by technology in the academic performance of the Senior high school of Ayala
Waste segregation and recycling are simple yet effective ways of reducing the amount of
waste dumped into our landfills. Escalating amount of recyclables that are not maximized
and indifference in proper waste segregation has lead to the group in developing a
solution to this.
CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

The respondents were classified according to the students recycled the plastic waste
disposal. Their responses were gathered through the survey questioner that is useful to
This study aims to separate one group from other groups and also us to know how we
This hypothesis proposes that fresh lunches will use less plastic, which will be extremely
beneficial for the environment. If we are able to influence fresh lunches to less plastic by
changing their serving methods, we can lessen the negative effect plastic waste has the
environment.
This study will be conducted to the senior high school students of Ayala National
High and will be asking some question to those who participate in plastic waste disposal
about the ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle, disposable plastic in lunchroom and
classroom.
2. Teachers- Teachers will benefits from this study from the finding and teaching the
students on how to be able do the proper waste disposal.
This study is to determine community participation and have an impact to the academic
performance of the Senior high school students of Ayala National High School.
OPERATIONAL DEFINATION OF TERMS
Social Media- the term use in this study refers to the online platform which people use to
build social relationship with other people.
Android- the term use in this study refers to the cellular phone that the students use to
make socialize and to invite friend about the study.
CHAPTER II
To be frank, all plastics can disposed in landfills. However landfilling is consider highly
wasteful as it requires a vast amount of space and the chemical constituents and energy
contained in plastic is lost in this disposal route. In the other place where landfills are
poorly manage, plastic waste can be easily blown into waterways or carried out to see by
flood water. Many of plastics can be recycled. And the materials recovered can be given
second life. However this plastic waste is not fully utilized, due to difficulties with the
collection and sorting of plastic waste. Even though, recycling is the most effective way
to deal with plastic waste, is effectiveness is highly depended on plastic awareness,
economics viability, and the implementation of public instructures to make recycling
more efficient.
Plastic waste the general common term for wide range of synthetic or semi- synthetic
organic amorphous solid materials derived from oil and natural gas, plastic recycling is
the process of recovering scrap or waste plastic and reprocessing the material into useful
products.
Waste segregation and recycling are simple yet effective ways of reducing the amount of
waste dumped into our landfills. Community participation on solid waste segregation
through recycling programs.
As a student transition into and more through Senior high they have to develop new
skills in order to be successful and to make inspiration to everyone and more than
thousands pounds of waste in the lunchroom alone of the students.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGIES
This chapter presents research design, research locale, population and sampling design,
research instruments, validity and reliability, ethical consideration, data gathering
procedure, and statistical tools and data analysis.
RESEARCH DESIGN
This study is quantitative research study, which uses an experimental research true-
experimental design wherein the researcher randomly selected the respondents.
RESEARCH LOCALE
This study is conducted on Ayala National High School, Zamboanga city.
