Introduction Pumped liquids
The Lubi LBI series are non-self priming, horizontal, These pumps are designed for liquids like potable water,
single-stage, centrifugal, end-suction pumps. rain water or other than thin, clean, non-aggressive,
non-explosive, not containing solid particles or fibres.
Pumps are available from 3 to 5 HP in single-phase and
from 2 to 15 HP in three-phase power supply. Sand content

The pump is fitted with a maintenance-free, mechanical Pump location

Applications
For suitable liquids which are thin, clean, non-explosive, Curve conditions
non-aggressive, not containing solid particles or fibers. The conditions below apply to the curves shown the
following pages.
For water supply systems and irrigation.
• Tolerances in accordance with ISO 9906, Annex A.
For heating, cooling, air-conditioning and circulation plants.
• The motors used for the measurement are standard
motors.
For civil, industrial and fire fighting applications.
• Test results with clean cold water, without gas content.
As pressure boosting pump for central water systems with Measurements have been made with airless water at a
low pressure (follow local specifications if increasing network temperature of 68°F.
pressure).
• Head and power values valid for liquids with
density = 1.0 kg/dm³ & kinematic viscosity = max 1 mm²/s
