SAVINGS. Ecoforest heat pumps substantially increase savings, not only because they are highly efficient day after day
and reduce CO2 emissions, but because of ecoGEO technology and control strategies. Ecoforest heat pump installation is
simple, compact and economic, an improvement over other heat pumps on the market because the user can forego certain
an
LOCAL RESOURCE. Heat pumps take most of the energy they need from their surrounding environment. Although they
still have to be connected to the mains, they do not need to be supplied with any type of fuel, increasing user convenience
le
and comfort. Likewise, they do not generate flames or smoke and provide a comprehensive heating system with little or
no visual impact.
.c
MINIMAL MAINTENANCE. The technology used by Ecoforest heat pumps is the same as a normal refrigerator, providing
them with long useful lives and minimal maintenance requirements.
w
MINIMAL NOISE. Heat pump technology and insulation reduce noise levels to those of a common household appliance.
Between 35 and 46 dB.
w
SAFETY. No combustion means no flames or smoke. In addition, the ecoGEO heat pump is totally monitored by the
software, so shutdowns are safe in the event of machine or external anomalies.
w
MINIMAL VISUAL IMPACT. None of the components in the geothermal configuration are visible. In the aerothermal or
hybrid configuration, the unit heater can be hidden appropriately to reduce the impact.
COMPREHENSIVE SYSTEM. Ecoforest programming allows comprehensive management of the entire installation from the
control station. Ecoforest programming allows user-friendly configuration of the entire system.

Improvements in the new ecoGEO product range by ECOFOREST
Household Range IMPROVEMENTS IN COMPONENTS, new elements
-Electrical resistor 2/4/6kW – In the event of failure in DHW and/or heating and to provide
support for DHW and/or heating; it can be configured in all the models.
-Cooling and reheating in all models (HTR).
-Intake can be vertical or at the rear (thanks to flexible hoses) and more space between intakes,
better adapted to the installation.
-Larger diameters in pipes and 3-way valves: HEATING and WELLS from 1” to 1 ¼” and from
¾” to 1” in DHW.
Basic -The Compact model includes a ¾’’ intake for DHW recirculation.
-Improvements in acoustic insulation, lower noise levels.
eu
-Circulator pumps for larger wells in models 5-22 kW (Wilo Stratos 25/1-12).
-Well safety unit included in all the models with an expansion vessel with more capacity. Well
capacity (8 litres, previously 5 litres).
-New model (ecoGEO 4) with active and passive cold production.
-Inclusion of a condensate drain pan.
-Hydraulic module located at the front of the heat pump.
n.
C ONTROL, no need for an external electrical cabinet
go
-Air Unit Control.
-Hybrid System Control, Air Unit brine + geothermal brine.
-System control with the help of the boiler.
-Control of 3 ecoGEO heat pumps in cascade.
-Control of 4 outlet units (3 mixed units and 1 direct unit).
Compact -Thermal leap modification in well and temperature circuits.
er
-Control of DHW recirculation.
-Control of passive external cooling in hybrid installations (brine: aerothermal and geothermal)
-Software updates via USB.
en
O PERATION Optimisation
-Improvement in the defrost process for configuration with the unit heater, thanks to the in-
clusion of an exchanger.
-Adding floor drying programs and a bleeding system in the primary and secondary circuits.

-Thermal leap modification in well and temperature circuits.
-Control of DHW recirculation.
-Software updates via USB.
w
O PERATION Optimisation
-Monitoring of the maximum efficiency interval in the «cascade» unit, managing the optimal
point and distributing the number of hours among all the units.
End of 2016
The point of maximum performance in heat pumps is not recorded at full load; therefore,
system control in a configuration with 2 25-100kW pumps (installed power of 200 kW), that
demands 100 kW, will operate the two heat pumps, providing each with 50 kW to run with
the highest COP.

Take the following into account: for the unit to defrost with Ecoforest technology (using the heat from the DHW, heating or pool) without needing to use
electrical resistors, modules 2 or 4 should be selected. The other modules can work with the AU12 but will not perform ecoGEO defrost.
