    The SEVO electrical actuator is mounted on the top plug


    of the valve.

    The 24 VDC electrical actuator is required to discharge


    the system electrically from a releasing control panel.

    An electrical signal from a releasing control panel sends a


    signal to the actuator, which operates the internal solenoid
    to activate a pin, venting pressure from the top of the
    valve, allowing the piston to rise and discharge Novec™
    1230 fluid through the valve outlet.

    Optional:
    The electrical actuator allows for a manual actuator to be
    stacked on top for electrical or manual system activation.

    The actuator for SEVO’s cylinder is permanently mounted


    directly to the top of the 1230 valve. The electric solenoid
    valve is normally closed. The valve requires electrical
    energy to remain open. The actuation of the solenoid
    valve from a UL Listed releasing control panel, vents
    the pressure from the top of the piston allowing the
    valve to discharge the fluid from the outlet. The volt /
    amp compatibility ratings are shown as listed by UL
    under File MP-618 Guide Y102 and complies with test
    requirement outline in UL Subject 429A for use in Fire
    Protection Service. The source releasing control panel
    will determine the number and rating of electric solenoids
    used. For use with 360 and 500 psi systems.
